This is my 98 Custom: double trigger, aluminum power tube/hyperstar bolt, low pressure kit, vigilante reg (low), shocktech drop w/ smart valve, evil pipe kit 14", dye stickies, evolution II w/ shortened feed tube polished internals, milled letter, milled blowback vents, powdercoat on gun, anodized barrels, custom trigger job the powdercoat and barrel matches better in real life, but the camera I used wasn't good, my other camera wouldn't upload, but hopefully I can get those pictures up soon no rt or ebolt, I don't really like them, but if I ever get to the point where I need one I will buy an impulse or electronic cocker Hope you like it |

about the egg...i outshoot the revvy/aren't reliable enough to be honest and i plan on getting a cocker or impulse and need sumthing to kind of transfer before i get a halo. and the gills...you don't lose any velocity or anything, it just helps feed the balls faster and have less chops because the blowback gases can bounce the balls just enough to chop or to just slow feeding down. the reason you don't lose velocity is because the bolt closes so quick it seals off before sending any air out of the vents, but then when the bolt opens, it will lose that seal and some air will be released

You wont loose velocity/range with the vents, but you will with the hyperstar. It doesnt seal with the barrel loosing air that would normaly be propelling the ball. I noticed a large decrease in rang when I had it. The aluminum powertube is trash too. Some work ok, but sometimes they are machined too much and blowback gas for the bolt escape around it not recocking the gun. Throw them away, theres nothing better than your stock internals! If I had a dollar for every time I sad that... But its really a nice gun though! Havnt seen a 98 like that in a while! Looks really awsome. -------------

| Triggerhappy1 just to say, not to get in a fight or anything, but I have had this gun for 3 years and have tried every imaginable setup with the bolt/powertube, and this is the best. I get awesome efficency and range. If with a leak in my drop I still got half a case shot with one 20 oz. SO i don't think they are trash, but everyone to their own opinion. |

First off, my compliments on such a unique and stylish setup, truly a rare find, well done. What did you use to mill the blowback vents? Dremel or something a little more precise? I`ve heard nothing but great feedback on the evil pipe barrel, hows it working for you? I respect your decision to leave your marker mechanical instead of installing an Ebolt. Personaly I find mech frames much more fun to shoot.

| Commander Cool thanks for the compliments. For the vents I used a hand file and sandpaper. The Evil Pipe is truly amazing and it was worth every penny. I also enjoy the mech frame a lot. I think if I want to go electronic I will buy an impulse and try to fix it to perfection. Thanks |
