whats the difference in a model 98 and a 98 custom? is one better than the other?

Ones more customizable(98C), and ones got teh uber l337 gills(m98).

Functionally they are the same.
The 98 Custom has shells molded so the RT or E-bolt will drop right in. The trigger return spring is different for the same reason.

The trigger guard is removeable.

Older 98's have a different power tube. Not that you could tell the difference looking at them, but an old valve will not fit in a new power tube and vice versa. So if your working on one keep the power tube and valve as a set.

Basically the shells are made to accomidate the upgrades.
