My A5's been good as usual until this season, i started paintballing again, and now its stuttering, ive completely taken it apart (accept cyclone), cleaned and oiled it all, and everything still does it.

ANy ideas? Its not horrible stuttering, its only when im ripping and it will do it everything 4-6tth shot or so.

What brand or output pressure is your HPA tank? What pressure is on the gauge when doing this?

Its Pure Energy Carbon Fiber tank. I think its 800-850 not sure. It happens at all times even if the tank is completely full.

Check the "O" ring on the hammer to see that it isn't cracked or nicked. If it is not damaged, oil it.

To clarify, do you have to cock the marker after it "stutters" or does it stop firing with the hammer in the cocked position?

Could it be that you have the E-Grip set in turbo mode and after firing fast enough for "turbo mode" to engage, firing on both pull and release, that it really isn't "stuttering" but actually firing very fast.

Does it shoot paint during this "stutter" mode?

Change the battery.

Check the hammer/sear.  The E-Grip has been known to put a lot of stress on the hammer and sear.

Plus what the other guys said.
