| would it be such a good idea to saw off the feed neck on the egg about 3/4 of the way down after the bend in the clear tube part?...to make it sit lower....i measured how much i need for it to still fit on my 98 custom feed elbow |

If you don't feel confident in your abilities to cut off the neck, then take it to your local proshop. Most will cut it off and fit it to your gun for cheap if not free. ------------- Founder of the "Forumers Against the Ugly Woman Sigs" also known as FAUWS. |

Its longer than it needs to be. Just like feed tubes on Mag bodies. Cut it down little by little. -------------
