Woodsball or Speedball? You have to give us just a tiny bit of info. Most upgrades are personal preferance though. That means that the best set-up for an A-5 is whatever you think is the best.

In the end you should have,  A flatline or a bigshot maybe 10-14'', E-grip, wit r/t, and a compressed air system or regulator, drop down, e.t.c. something to help with the co2

Best woods set-up I can think of if money wasnt a problem. Taken from http://www.specopspaintball.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=71 - http://www.specopspaintball.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPRO D&ProdID=71  I'd change the barrel and add an HPA tank, and R/T, but that would be pretty sweet.

Special Ops - A-5A2 Digi-camo

12" Lapco Bigshot, DOP X-Core 8 Stage Expansion Chamber, egrip or r/t, 12v revvy or Eggy2. Everything else is personal preference. You could get a drop forward, RVA, rocket cock, stock, scopes, pretty much anything.

Flatline or Bigshot, E-Grip, HPA...

That would do it for me.

oooo no he said he plays sniper a position on a team, either ambusing or flanking the other team. He must be a noob because of his 6 inch barrel and he thinks with it he can shot 1234503496093658 feet, doesn't he know that all barrels shot about the same distance excluding the flatline.

the e-grip is only if you plan on playing tourneys.  Apart from that the rt kit is cheaper, just as fast, and takes less effort to use well.  I personally do not like the flatlines, but that is personal opinion.  Get a barrel kit instead.  I like the double trigger but that is also personal opinion.  I believe you should have the r-5 loader and some form of x-chamber.  If you are using co2, it makes you more consistent; if you are using HPA, it can help drop off.  I also recomend the shocktech superfly bolt; they really do make a difference.  Do not get the DOP powertube.

Stocks are pointless except for looks.

Everybody needs a mech cocker. They are just so smooth and sexy; not like those 5 sec robo jobs.

Compactor, IMHO.

If they had put out a true electro kit, the A-5 could have been a world-beater ...

Ah, those lost opportunities ...

how is tuning the r/t and finding the sweet spot easier than replacing the
grip and holding down the trigger?

flatline, egrip, jcs duel trigger, spec ops air through stock and toombstone, palmer stabalizer, remote, 68/4500 crossfire tank, some sort of red dot sight, r-5 hopper, camo paint job, maby spec ops A5-A2 for-grip or an opsgear raider flatline shroud, maby a laser sight/bi pod/ flashlight.

o yea, people on this forum dont like the s word, dont use it or be flamed a million times or open up another 14 page argument like i did so long ago... search the sniper topic on upgrades and customizing.
