i have heard that there is a e-grip coming for a 98. i am wondering if anyone knows when it will be released. i am sorry if there has been another post about this.

It should be coming out in a few months.

  I heard June about a month or 2 ago, but I guess that isn't gonna happen.  I wish Tippmann would release crap to the public, but of course they don't.  I'm still not sure on how good this new ownership is.  I'll be iffy about trusting thier products until I'm sure that they have the same product quality and support.

umm what about how it fits in the frame of a regular 98c...? do you prolly have to do any mods to your 98c grip frame to put it in?

You wouldn't have to. That's why they made an e-grip especially for the 98c, so you don't have to mod it.

wouldnt u have to do somtin to the grip frame to get to the battery? my friend has a custom pro e and there is a  hole in the grip frame to get to the battery so he doesnt have to take it aprt...

I EMAILED TIPPMANN AND THEY TOLD ME ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO THAT IT WOULD BE OUT IN 2 MONTHS THAT WAS LIKE IN APRIL

i dont know where you guys got your info but i called them yesterday and they said that they arent making one for the 98c. only for the custom pro.

.........Tippmann is a great company w/ great guns but bad updates on their websites and it never gives right release dates if any to its customers.

They don't give release date because when they don't get a product out on time, they know people will be mad.
