Should Tippmann make a barrel kit?  i think tippmann should make a barrel kit unlike any other.  just for example i will use the lapco 7.5 inch bigshot for the A-5.....Tippmann should make a small barrel like that but then but on diffrent backs... with diffrent bore sizes.  however the front part should have the same treads as the gun so that you could just take the back off of the barrel and use the front.  that way if you ever play in a house or in a small speed ball field or just want a small barrel you would have that and longer barrels in the same kit....

if anyone thinks this could be a good idea please vote.

dude why not that would be sweet... really i just want tippmann to come out with some better barrels...im waiting to see a carbonfiber barrel come out from them.  like the stiffi. carbon fiber is the greatest matterial for barrels and tippmann needs some help with barrels.... i mean they have like maybe 3 diffrent barrels and as of what i hear even the best barrel (the works) isnt that great.  im not bashing tippmann in any way....its constructive criticism

To tell you the truth, tippmann is focusing on their markers, and certain upgrades for markers. They let the companies that are better equipt to make barrels make them. Tippmanns focus needs to stay on keeping the company the way it was before the sale, because their customer service is starting to slack and their products are starting to have some consistancy problems.

true they do need to focus on that...but they should team up with lapco or something because if i recall Tippmann and Lapco have a pretty good buisness relationship going.  i for one whould love to see tippmann come out with a very good barrel... it would help open up there market to people looking for more then just guns.  if i saw a carbonfiber barrel kit come out from them i think that lots of paintballers would jump on that because that would be the first carbon fiber kit ever.  plus carbon fiber has much less friction then metal and is lighter then aluminum and 10 times stronger then steal.

but before i would want to see a barrel kit come out i would like to see them hold up there tippmann name and come out with a new marker that isnt 500 pounds and big.

The problem with that would be the price. Nobody wants to spend that much money on a barrel.

they could make the barrel like $100 and some backs for about $30 each...they wouldnt even have to sell it as a kit but more like a 2 peace barrel were both the front part and the back part have the same threads as the gun so you could use the small front part or add the back part......but in makeing it a 2 piece barrel people could make there own kits out of it.

i think its a good idea...maybe not for tippmann to do but i would like some of there brains  to be behind it so that it would be good quality.

and if a barrel is $100 but works amazing, ways nothing, and is 10 times stronger then steal i think its worth the money

I'm not saying the idea itself isnt a good idea, but tippmann will never do it.

agreed. tippmann may make quality markers anyway, but their barrels arent great(excluding flatlines). its a really nice idea, but carbon fiber is expensive. plus too, as i understand, its a bit harder to thread carbon fiber. id love to see it, i really would. but im not expecting it for quite some while if ever. wow, i just noticed 150 or something like that votes in the poll for no and 0 for yes. comical if you ask me. ill be a nonconformist
