ok, so, im gonna sound like a moron for this. a long while back i went
to slide into a bunker with my A5. no face first superman stunts, just
a simple feet first slide. i ended up having my barrel too low to the
ground and it caught a rock. scratches on the barrel and such. big
deal, i needed a new barrel anyway. i didnt pay much attention but
realized later that the barrel was a little wobbly. not much,
millimeters maybe. but i knew it couldnt be good. i thought it may be
the barrel itself. i changed it out with my new barrel. no go, still
wobbly. took the adapter off and looked at the parts of the receiver
that take the adapter. nothing more than little scratches and such.
looked at the adapter, seemed ok. so now im wondering "has the barrel
been wobbly all along?" and i figure to myself its got to mess up
accuracy. i start shooting it, seems fine. but then again my barrel has
amazing accuracy because of the paint match. so i call tippmann tech,
they tell me theres nowhere in jersey that can look at the gun so i
have to send it in. now we all know it
takes a while and costs some money for this. so im being my lazy self
and not sending it in cause its the only gun ive got for now. im
shooting it another day and i realize how bad the accuracy is. im like
oh no, but then realize i dont have much c02 left. has this kind of
thing happened to anyone else? anyone in jersey able to recomend a shop
to go to that will service it but the tippmann rep didnt feel like
telling me? im sure its just going to be a look at the gun, figure out
whats wrong, fix it, 20 minute max type thing(unless i screwed up the
reciever part somehow). i just dont feel like waiting 2 and a half
weeks to play again and dont feel like paying the 20 dollar UPS or
whatever shipping costs. even before that, does the barrel wobble a
little bit with EVERY a5? and yes, i have the screws thoroughly
tightened. thanks for reading

Sounds like I should go beat my gun on a rock, I didn't read it alll
but you said barrel hit the rock, and then amazing accuracy, so time to
go find a big rock...

get a replacement barrel adapter. A similar thing happened to mine, and a new barrel adapter fixed it.

i wanted to kiss it and pull the trigger after smacking it on a rock
like a moron. im gonna ask tippmann to just send me the replacement. if
that doesnt work, time to ship it off i guess. thanks for the help
everyone. and the reason my gun shot so good was cause i was using an
armson stealth with marballizers. the marballizers wont roll out by
blowing into the barrel, so it makes the paint twist with the rifling.
say rifling doesnt do a thing all you want, when i match it with the
right sized paint, it works wonders for me.
