Well the forum seems slow today and I figured I would ask every what they did to earn money, part-time or full doesn't matter. As for me I'm a life guard...yay. -------------

I'm a floor manager at a plastics plant that makes birdfeeders and child safety gates. So basicaly I just drive a forklift around all day, tell people to get back to work and shut up, and eat chips and drink soda

I work after school at Alternative Fuels, a middle man in propane selling. They buy 10k gallons and then sell to distributors who sell to you. I organize paper, fun fun. But I start at $8 an hour. -------------

I work in a window factory. I just put screws in al day, load glass into a machine, cut it or clean it, assemble the windows, cut and assemble the vynle frames, all kinds of fun stuff. Making $8.50 and hour too. -------------

| I work in a coffee shop, making espresso drinks. I am what one could call a latte boy. The coffee shop also doubles as a gasoline station, so normal other things. Run the register, make coffee, scoop bait, and scoop ice cream. I actually need to go to work soon. zI think I work at 2:00 CST. |

I'm trying to get a job at a dry cleaners, but when I'm 18 I'm going to work for this dude who owns a local headshop. I'm gonna learn how to blow glass. i drive cars for avis car rental 1 day a week (6.50)
5 days a week i work at a machine shop machining moulds. mostly birrilium(sp) copper this is an evil metal and i hate it (broke 3 taps last week one being a 1/4 pipe tap ) how ever friday i got to machine alum so i was happy (8.00  im asking for a raise to 12$ after this semisters over cuz il have my cirtificate in machining)------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

Head shop = pothead, crackhead, etc. They sell paraphernalia to miscellaneous activities. Or vases and pretty pieces of glass, depending on who you are. -------------

Not really a job but I start on staff at the local scout camp next
week. My daily pay rivals most of yall's hourly pay and I'm doing

Im a 3rd year appentice Truck/Coach Diesel mehcainc.
Currently i work for a school bus company maintaneing and repairing
shool buses. It dont pay Great but gets me by and i enjoy the work. Hey it has othe benifits that help with the low pay. I can put in pretty mutch as mutch overtime as i like and i have accsess to the shop even on the after hours to o work on my own cars or side work for extra cash.
