Mine with the E-Bolt. Gunmetal Hammer-tone paint, stainless screws. Hammerhead Pro barrel. Modified Tippmann double trigger (limit screws) and mirror polish on the chamber and feed throat area of the receiver(all the area wiped by the forward bolt "O" ring).

Robin's marker: E-Bolt, Palmer Stabilizer, Mini-Rock, Dye Sticky grips, Modified Tippmann double trigger (limit screws), Stone Cold II 17" barrel, all stainless screws. Also mirror polish inside where necessary. Paint is lacquer color called Kameleon, a metal flake that glows gold, red or green, depending on how the light hits it.

The top marker is sorta ugly..., but the bottom one has some really good parts on it. Neither of the barrels really look good on the guns either.

Interesting that comments are that the barrels don't "look good." Robin and I usually take the same bunker on the break. He on one side and I on the the other. We play enough that most people at the field know us. They yell to us during the game, not just that our "mirror is hot" or that the "back dog house" is hot, but that we need to take out a specific bunker so that our team can move. Both of our barrels are dead on accurate. We occupy the back line and sweep the field with these barrels. We don't always own it, but we keep it locked up pretty well. There is many the time when we are out numbered 3 to 1 and we still win the game.
We have Flatline barrels for both markers and love their ability to reach out and touch those on the back line across the field. But, the two barrels we have now will make the distance and shot to shot consistency is better with much less expensive paint (Diablo Heat). Looks aren't EVERYTHING.

I stuck with the standard bottom-of-the-grip ASA longer than my son did, but I discovered that in speedball the short coupling of the drop forward made the marker easier to handle. I went cheap. Right now we are both still using CO2. We have both just purchased used HPA tanks and will be converting as soon as they arrive. We are taking advantage of Crossfire's regulator exchange program to switch his cylinder to a screw in valve rather than the cradle type (Nitro Duck). I have picked a small pony scuba tank and will also make that valve change before we can fully convert.
Funny, we were asking questions of the Refs at the field the other night about the legality of a dead man giving paint or his marker to a live player in the middle of a game. We had not been allowed to do that, (needed paint) about a year ago, but it is OK now. Seems that in the Advanced play, with such expensive and complicated guns they have to allow swap-outs like that because of the high rate of marker break-down. Sure is great to be on the level with the advanced markers but still using the virtually rock rugged Tippmann markers.

I usually leave a tube or two at the first bunker I get to, then it is picked up if it's needed.

Sorry that I haven't gotten back to you. We received it and have shipped it off to CrossFire for their regulator replacement offer to convert it to a valve that screws into the ASA.

Looks like the drops are now an absolute. Robin's now running an 88/4500 HPA bottle and I expect one to arrive for me within a few days. Both found on Ebay at less than 1/3 the new price. Took advantage of CrossFire's web page offer to install new tank valve/regulator for $65. Couldn't even buy the part for that price. The old valves on the tanks required the cradle style drops meaning that the bottles had to stay in place on the marker. We opted for screw in style valves so we could still fit the markers into our carry case.

I like the grey paintjob...the barrels as everyone has been saying look simply put, bad. I don't think they are nothing out of the ordinary, but it looks good just to play with.

The Stone Cold II on Robin's marker has a reputation as a sniper barrel. He is a dead on shot with it, time and time again making ONE SHOT KILLS. Couple of weeks ago his hopper jammed mid game. He started hand loading one ball at a time. Before the game was over he had advanced up the speedball field and taken out one more and an assist on a second. When I can't make the shot I point the target out to him and he takes them out.
The barrel on my marker is a Hammerhead Pro, a rifled barrel that I think is more accurate than most others on the market. Off a bench rest with a red dot sight I can shoot 6" groups at 120 feet. But in the excitement of the game I can't hit as consistently as Robin can.
