People stop sending spam PM's to people
NO I DONT WANT TO JOIN PAINTAPALOOZA and no I dont want to join some crappy forum started by a nother forumer "Hey, blanky has decided to make a new forum. Go check it out. The address is http://paintapalooza.sausagefest.noonecares When you get there register and go to the T&O section with the topic that says new people and say that I informed you to join the forum. I like the forum. The star system works, we have mods there, an admin,
and theres no spam. Cedric and Plenti were already IP banned because
they were spamming it. You know how mods have good relations with other
mods, that'd be funny if they got banned her too.

Not advertising dude-those rules apply to the forum. It would only be advertising if he did what I did the other day. Which I quickly edited. A sometimes problem is trolling from or to other forums. The moderators have nice relationships with a few other manufacturers forums. If we get a report of someone trolling on another board, you will be banned. Fair warning, we do not want to see some silly "forum war", and will take steps to prevent such lameness. That, however, is against the rules. -------------

Look, that forum wont last. Better forumers have tried the same thing, and all have failed. They just get bored. And I agree, the mods/admins have gone retarded with power. Things such as sarcasm are strictly watched and frowned upon. If the mods/ admins relaxed a little, I can see it growing in popularity, but for now it's as if you speak out against anything, especially the forum, you're instantly banned.
On this forum, we openly discuss the flaws within it, and the mods dont kick us out for thinking differently. Heck, some agree. |

What you dont understand, is we do have supervision. What you have over at paintballpaloza, is basicaly a totalitarian city state forum. People were getting banned that hadnt done anything. Plenti got banned for voicing his opinion. rossy, you strike me as dumber every time you talk, just my opinion. This forum has supervision, probably some of the finest mod's you could find. There is a big difference between supervision, and totalitarian control. Our mods are our peers, they do not place themselves high above us and make threats about banning us when we do not agree with them. You honestly beleive that _TT_, Reb, Rambino, Enos and Hway don't do their job? Of course they do, have you not noticed the strikes, editing and deleting they do on a daily basis? And how many of the people you claim are being "rude" are still here too? People like Plenteh are a great contribution to this forum, but you shun him immediatly because he doesnt agree with the fascist system of how the forum is run. Get off your high horse, you're no better of a person than him, and this forum, as crippled as it is, does quite well for itself, due to it's sense of equality, and sense of community. |
