I just bought my very first A5 with Hopper, 20oz. CO2 Tank, and a Thermal Mask. I need to wait for the rest of my friends (5 of them which 2 of them are girls) to get their gear, buy some paintballs, fill our CO2 tanks and to find a field to use.
My questions are:
can we play at a regular park? (its woody and there are large areas in the woods that no one ever ever goes). is there like a law? like does a place (field) need to be designated as "a paintball field" for it to be used as such?
is there any "free" field? wood or indoors?
is the paint in the paintball ammo bad for the grass? does the paintball casing decompose after a while, if so, how long?
the 2 girls with be wearing a protective vest (kinda like the one they use on indoor/out door rental gun/fields) this will protect their boobies but how about our crouch?
when a paintball hits your goggles lences head on, like 10-20 feet, would the lense shatter? thus hurting your eyes in the process?
if you got hit, but the paint did pop, your still in the game right?
if the CO2 is filled 100%, does it loose any of its pressure in a long run? what are the variables that will cause this? (example, heat, cold, time? etch...)
say we finished the game, and our tank was only used 50% of the time, do we have to drain it before we store it?
i got a tippmann A5 with stock barrel, i cant afford a flatline yet, what should i get in the meantime?
ive heard of airsoft and they said its funner (forgive my grammer), is this true? i mean, how can you tell if you get shot or not.

\more question as they arise, please answer these, thanks all!

i always play in a park. no one ever goes there. we've seen 2 ppl go down there in the past 2 years. find a good safe place where no one can see you. untill the cops get you you're fine.

Then, it's like skateboarding in someone's pool in the '70's run, run some more, oh snap they got the dog run faster!
The worst experience I've ever had was when an old geezer came at us
with a shotgun and said that we hooligans and a <nothing
here>(me) better get off of his land, so basically just find
somewhere without racist idiots who don't know their own land
boundaries, and make sure you play it safe, get a chrono.

is there any "free" field? wood or indoors? Never heard of a FREE field.
is the paint in the paintball ammo bad for the grass? Biodegradable does not harm grass or trees..
Does the paintball casing decompose after a while, if so, how long? Yes they do. No idea how long it takes.
the 2 girls with be wearing a protective vest (kinda like the one they use on indoor/out door rental gun/fields) this will protect their boobies but how about our crouch? I recommend a soft cup or at least stick a pair of socks down there. A team mate of mine was shot in the boys. And he was swollen over a week after.
when a paintball hits your goggles lences head on, like 10-20 feet, would the lense shatter? thus hurting your eyes in the process? They should not shatter,i have never seen a lense shatter. Crack yes, but not shatter. Cracked because the guy was shooting HOT and the guy was hit from less than 10 feet away.
if you got hit, but the paint did pop, your still in the game right? Yes
if the CO2 is filled 100%, does it loose any of its pressure in a long run? what are the variables that will cause this? (example, heat, cold, time? etch...) Heat and cold always have an effect on CO2
say we finished the game, and our tank was only used 50% of the time, do we have to drain it before we store it? I don't. Some say you should.
i got a tippmann A5 with stock barrel, i cant afford a flatline yet, what should i get in the meantime? I suggest play with your stock barrel first. It all depends on what type of paint you are going to buy. If you buy "cheap" paint which are usualy medium to large in size i recommend a lapco Bigshot. If you shoot good quality paint which are usualy small to medium in size i would recommend a J&J ceramic.
ive heard of airsoft and they said its funner (forgive my grammer), is this true? i mean, how can you tell if you get shot or not. They use the Honor system. You will feel it when you get shot. Whats cool about Airsoft is that the guns are very realistic. I like to play both paintball and airsoft.

My questions are:
can we play at a regular park? (its woody and there are large areas in the woods that no one ever ever goes). is there like a law? like does a place (field) need to be designated as "a paintball field" for it to be used as such? You could always go to a real paintball field in your area. http://www.pbreview.com/fields - www.pbreview.com/fields . As for a park, if no one is there, I guess you could. Do any of you have a large back yard?
is there any "free" field? wood or indoors? I doubt it. Entrance fees are not that much though. They are only around $10. They get you for the cost of paint.
is the paint in the paintball ammo bad for the grass? does the paintball casing decompose after a while, if so, how long? Paintballs are just gummy bears(geliten), crayon wax, and cough surip. No, they will not hurt anything. They will disolve in water. Usally a good rain storm will clean everything up.
the 2 girls with be wearing a protective vest (kinda like the one they use on indoor/out door rental gun/fields) this will protect their boobies but how about our crouch? You can wear anything sports cup if you want. Some people wear them, others, like me, risk it.
when a paintball hits your goggles lences head on, like 10-20 feet, would the lense shatter? thus hurting your eyes in the process? No, it will not shatter. The goggles are made not to. When you do get hit from 10 feet or closer, you are suppost to buy new lenses for you mask.
if you got hit, but the paint did pop, your still in the game right? If you get hit with a ball and it does not pop or leaves a mark smaller then a quarter, you are still in the game.
if the CO2 is filled 100%, does it loose any of its pressure in a long run? what are the variables that will cause this? (example, heat, cold, time? etch...) When you compress a gas, it turns to liquid. The same thing happends in a propane grilling tank as does your paintball tank. As some of the gas is used, the pressure in the tank decreases allowing for some of the liquid to expand back to a gas. This will produce a constant output pressure untill your tank is empty, so no. If it is cold outside, you will only use more CO2 then if it were warm out. This is the same concept for a scuba diver, you will use more air the deeper you go. Your lungs take in the same volume, but the air molicules are closer together and more dense so you take in more air.
say we finished the game, and our tank was only used 50% of the time, do we have to drain it before we store it? You can store a tank with CO2 left in it as long as it is not in a very warm stop it in sunlight. A little bit of CO2 will escape.
i got a tippmann A5 with stock barrel, i cant afford a flatline yet, what should i get in the meantime? Save your money if you want a flatline. I would pass on the flat line and get a barrel kit. They are around the same price. For now, do what ever you want. If you want a barrel, get a cheap barrel.
ive heard of airsoft and they said its funner (forgive my grammer), is this true? i mean, how can you tell if you get shot or not. Try both, see which one you like. I think they use the honor system. Airsoft is more for extream military make-believe.

No, you shouldn't risk playing in a park however if you find a not park property area go for it.
