This board has actually inspired me to create another "Pandified" Marker.

Not Nearly as many upgrades will touch this A5 compared to my 98, but it will puke out about the same.

Thinking about.

  • 12" Bigshot
  • Palmer Stabilizer kit
  • WAS Board
  • Dead on. Blade Trigger
and that would be about it.

If you have the E-Grip you might as well invest in the JCS trigger that is walkable. Unless you have something planned for the Dead On blade....?

Nice

Yeah I was thinking about the R5 too. I keep hearing that it's cheap feeling though. I don't know, I'll probably end up getting it cause it looks cool.

right now I'm looking for a cheap stock A5.  Somthing under $175(that works and doesn't have to many scratches).

Xtremez was just selling refurbished A-5s for $149. I just checked their website out, they're all out.

But they still have Model 98s for $89.99! http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/product_informatio n.asp?number=GNTM98R&variation=BLK&aitem=&mitem= &back=yes&dept=489

Yeah.. Thats cool and all but what really is the point?

If you wanted a board that could shoot that fast you are probably into speedball, and then you'd be better off with an Ion or something.

Ion =17bps = $300

A5 egrip Was = 20bps = almost $430

In my opinion its not worth it.  I don't know a lot about Ion upgrades so possibly they could reach higher speeds.

The A5 is best for Woods, not for speed.  I say that as an A5 owner.

Dude, you can turn a Tippmann into a gun for ANY kind of game...  and an A-5 will last you a whole lot longer than an Ion, and they look better too.
