| AI'm thinking about upgrading for co2 to no2 for my upcoming tourny in late summer but i don't want to have to buy the low pressure system and the tank do you need to get the low pressure system if your geting a high pressure no2 tank becasie i know they make low and high pressure tanks |

first its N2 but whatever, ok no you dont need a low pressure system, i
dont have N2 or HPA BUT ive heard, all you have to do is buy the tank,
fill it up, and screw it in and your all set...hope that helps

you do not need the LPK. Just geta high pressure out put tank (800-850) psi and you will be fine. -------------

Yea, just a simple preset hgh output tank at 800 psi (the Tippmanns operating pressure) would be great for your gun. -------------

what do u mean by 800 psi becasue all the tanks i see are either 3000 4500 or 5000 psi

There are three numbers that have to do with HPA (High Pressure Air)/nitro/nitrogen/compressed air (same thing) tanks. The first is the pressure that you have seen. The 3000, 4500, and 5000 psi are the capacity of the tank itself. The higher the pressure, the more air is compressed in to the tank. There is also the cubic inch rating, as in 45ci, 68ci, or 81ci. That is the size of the tank in cubic inches. The larger the number the bigger the tank and the more air it holds. You look at both numbers to get an idea of how many shots you will get. Multiply the ci by ten for a 3000psi tank, by 15 for a 4500, and IIRC 17 for a 5000psi tank. The number that has been recommended to you 800-850 is the output pressure of the built in regulator. All HPA tanks have a regulator to reduce the 3000, 4500, or 5000 psi inside the tank to a safer 800ish, or for some special low pressure tanks, about 400. You need a normal 800ish output pressure HPA tank for your Tippmann.

i have a 98c and i wanted to know if i could get an hpa tank and use it without upgrading anything? and what would it cost to get an hpa tank that would work good for my gun? ------------- Pm5~12"Proto 2 piece~Hybrid headlock~evil onoff~cp sling blade~25 gram switch. |

Yes. Buy a HPA tank and then screw it into your Tippy. You don't kneed
anything else, just buy the tank and you're off. (If you wanted to fine
tune it more, a reg would help, but it's not needed.) All you need is
the air tank, and screw it in. And what would it cost to get an HPA tank? steel or carbon fiber? 3000, 4500 or 5000 psi? How big do you want it? Just go to any online paintball shop to get a rough feeling of prices. |

A cheaper steel tank that only has a capacity of 3000psi might be found for as little as $75. High end tanks can hit over $500 for something like an Angel Air.
Check out some of the online retailors for prices. |
