Okay, well I actually got to go to a "Real" proshop down in Salt Lake, and this time they let me hold Every gun for awhile, and well I've been meaning to get a "high-end" gun for awhile... and I found somthing that my Hands loved to get there fingers around. It was the 05-Superstock. Besides my E98c I've never felt a marker where my hands just naturally loved to get its hands on. Its right in my price range under $600. Its short and fast, and I can get that thing going crazy fast on bounce. I enjoyed it so much that I almost had to beg the proshop worker to let me dry fire it. But I know now where my next marker is. I think my hands/fingers felt more natural around the SS then any other marker I've ever got my hands on.

I also felt the Ego, and holy Shhh.... that thing is soooo light! 1.12lbs I like it, but I aint diggin the price($999). I also felt angels, and I really don't like the feel of them. I like the Ion and all but, my hands just adapt to it. It seemed the only marker I like getting my hands around is the 05-SS-SF.

so anyway... for all of you Superstock SF owners, I have a few questions...

1. What is usally general maintaince?
2. When/if a problem occurs, what is it?
3. What barrel do you suggest for it?

well, i dont have a superstock, but its just like any other 'cocker, except it has that really annoying and hard to use sf frame on it, but to answer your questions

1. use tri-flow to lube the orings on the bolt, thats about all there is for maintenance (besides the occasional cleaning of the pneumatics if you are hit there). also change your battery when it's needed and you should be good to go

2. it will have pretty much the same problems as any other 'cocker, most of which can be attributed to bein out of time. however, since you will have an e-frame on it, the only real timing issue will be the lug height, just adjust it to where it needs to be (preferance)

3. this is the easy one: macdev matcstik kit, 'cocker's will work best with a good barrel kit, and the matchstik is the best, and it only costs $140 (as opposed to a full freak kit at $200)
