Smart Parts ion, its SP, which is not a problem for me it is for some, but its fast, cheap, and fairly reliable, ive played with one, i like it, its probably the best gun $280 can buy -------------

Just get a electro spyder and hpa or get an A-5 and a 20 0z. If you get the Ion then you need hpa for good performance which is another 78$ and thats over your mark the A-5 is better then because you can get a 20 0z and still have 50-80 $to blow on upgrades. I say A-5. Ion=pretty unreliable, of the ones i've dealt with, and some technical oversights in design.

Go with A-5 and 20oz., as said before. You would also have the 50-80$ extra too. That way you could buy an response trigger and save up for a flatline barrel. the b2k4 with pds will blow any ion out of the water. it's capable of much much much higher rates of fire(mid-high twenties) and is more reliable and just plain cooler. i would recommend the b2k4 w/pds or you can find a used cocker for pretty cheap, and those are always good. ------------- WGP orracle cp flame drop MACdev gladiator reg Evil pipe kit 68/5000 tank evlutionII w/zboard A-5 ultralite e-grip w/jcs duel trigger 45/4500 crossfire LPK,cp reg Drop forward |

As you can see we tend to disagree. Your best bet is to make a list and
go out and try out as many as you can and decide which one you prefer. I would lean heavy toward an ION.  |
