If you play woodsball, I find it a must.

-------------
A-5
E-Grip
JCS Dual Trigger
DOP X-CORE 8 stage x-chamber
Lapco Bigshot 14" Beadblasted

Optional setup:

Dead on Blade trigger

I would say woodsball yes, and speedball no.  If you want more range get it.  Be prepared to spend a little money and time on paint.  The way it sounds to me it is very picky on paint.  Try Marbilizers.  They are supposed to be awesome with the Flatty.  It otherwise won't be very accurate.  If you're happy with the regular barrel range, get a 12"-14" Lapco Bigshot.
