NO in the kit it says you can use the same backs but you get to chose
what front you want AA or Freak.

Smart Part's terminology is confusing.

There is a Freak back, an AA back, a Freak front (sometimes called Teardrop front), and an AA front.

The difference between the AA and Freak fronts is style only.

The difference between the AA and Freak backs is important - the Freak back takes bore inserts, the AA does not.

Either front will fit into either back.

So if you are buying a Freak kit, you get the Freak back, the inserts, and whatever front you want - AA or Freak style.

If you are buying an AA barrel, you get the AA back and an AA front, but you can also use a Freak front with the AA back if you choose.

Yea, different fronts.

Its pretty self explanitary. You can either get the freak or the AA front. They're just different barrels.
