I just bought a new Tippmann Custom Pro with an E-Grip, I am very much pleased with the marker, and like the inclusion of the double trigger/ electronic grip system. Only one thing that dissapointed me was that the trigger pull is too heavy for a double trigger; although it is a minor irritation, I would like to lighten the pull so I can shoot easier when I go out to practice speedball on the weekends. Any help on how to lighten the trigger pull would be much appreciated.

There's another thread going about much the same thing, titled "magnetic trigger". I'll sum up the thread for you with one link: http://www.a5og.net/vforum/showthread.php?t=845

Just take the spring out

Or get a spring from a clicky pen cut it down to where it fits where the stock one goes without being compressed.

Thanks, lots of help/resources to work on. I will read up on these guides, but also, I'm going to tinker around with my own trigger setups.

I'm thinking of buying a JCS trigger, and just putting in a pen spring. But first I need to know if the JCS trigger actually works for the Custom Pro with E-Grip, all I'v seen them for was A-5's.

And if so, where can I buy one?

if you take the spring out without replacing it, it won't spring back and you'll be left wondering why you could only fire one shot that game

yea, i called blackpoint engineering, the company that makes the JCS Dual Trigger, they siad that they dont have anything made for the custom pro, only the model 98, and A-5. The dual trig for the A-5 will NOT work for any other gun, so people dont go out there and buy it if u have a custom pro. I will just have to keep looking around. Heres Blackpoint's site if u want to look around.

I put replaced the stock trigger spring with a pen spring of exact size, diameter, it helps a lot, but I'm thinking I need a slightly heavier trigger, an aluminium trigger would be perfect.

they have some good product reviews for aftermarket tippmann upgrades.

I can walk a lot faster now with the pen mod, but once I replace my plastic trigger for a better, aluminium one, I'll definitely be able to shoot paint as fast as any of those high-end, high priced markers can.

shouldnt the custom pro have a light pull and not the usual 3 lb pull because its an electronic trigger?

Even with the E-Grip on the Custom Pro, the pull was still a little heavy. The trigger spring is not loose enough to trigger walk. But after a pen mod, it works just fine.

take out the spring, do a mag mod and a switch mod. this mod should work on the tippmann switch also.

Take a knife and pry open the lil tabs on both sides of the switch to open it.

Now, if you look at the left side of the switch ull see a lil arm holding the back end of the spring...

Bend that lil arm to the right. - Note: the more you bend the lighter the pull will be. I used a pen to bend it, dont bend it too far.

out everything back together. im sure someone else can help you out with the mag mod.
