Only firearm I currently own is an heirloom Beretta 950 (.22corto) my grandfather bought while in Rome.
Finances have consistantly foiled my many attempts to purchase a firearm. Latest try was back in May... I even had it in my hands (CZ P-01, 9mm)... but bills got too high and I had to let it pass. Others I've come close to purchasing recently but had to let go due to bills: M1 Carbine, RRA AR15.
If I have enough pennies scraped up by the end of August, I'll try and squeeze in a M1911A1 purchase, as it's the least expensive on the list.
Everything else on my wish list... at this point, given my expenses... is just a pipe dream. Doesn't matter how much I want it, it's always gonna be out of reach.

Funny, to me pheasent and rabbit taste much the same. A bit darker meat than grouse but still not as gamey as lie a bluebill duck for example.

Swat officer still using an Mp5? And keeping in in his vehicle? What kind of team is he on? It's almost an outdated swat weapon, and the liability to keep a fully automatic weapon in your vehicle is too much for an intelligent department to allow.

BashBro96 wrote:

| Absolutely nothing. I completely disagree that it's an "outdated" weapon. "Tried and True" more like it. Sure you can get a new fancy UMP... but for most departments, why "upgrade" when there is no need? With budgets as they are... if you already have a high quality SMG... why replace it, simply because it's not the latest thing? Despite it's "Age" the MP5 is still the most widely used SMG with law enforcement in the states, and dare I say it... the entire Western world?
Non-standard caliber SMGs... MP7/P90... while beginning to see use... too expensive for most departments, and many also prefer to keep the SMG the same caliber as their issued sidearms.
