I've updated the pictures just a bit.  Since my last Gallery post, I've added the double trigger, painted the drop black and added the two chrome spacers under the drop (an awesome suggestion by Enos Shenk)...

While the gun was open, I also polished the inside.  I still have yet to chrono the gun with the stab on, but I might go out this weekend (if my wife and daughters let me) since the weather is supposed to be nice.

The second shot is of the marker in the top tray of my Rufus Dawg case...

I mainly posted this just to give another perspective for placement of the Palmer Female stab...  I realize there haven't been any other mods, sorry...I kept the angle on the tank, just to minimize the possibility of liquid entering the gun.  Most of the time, when the female stab is used, the tank ends up being parallel to the ground, so by default, there is more of a chance of the liquid CO2 entering the gun.  ANyways, thanks for the comments...

Very sharp work on that drop. Did you make it?

If you have access to a metal lathe, i would suggest turning some small standoffs for the bolts at the bottom of your grip. They add a bit of style, and would probably look nice with that drop. You can see what i mean here: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/eshenk/cocker1.jpg - http://mywebpages.comcast.net/eshenk/cocker1.jpg

 I personaly like the gun the way it is.  Unless you play speedball alot or if you don't play paintball a whole lot, then it is already all you need.  If you do play a lot though, and you feel the need to become more competitive, you could get a r/t (if that's your preference) or you could wait on the e-grip that's supposed to come out.  One thing I might get is a nitrogen tank.  Also, if you haven't done so yet, do the pen spring mod just to make the trigger pull a little lighter.  As a woodsball gun, I would give your gun a 7/10.

Actually, that's an awesome idea.  I even have some left over round stock from my Nutcracker Cannon project (see my website).  I'm guessing your standoffs are about 1/4" or so.?.?

What do you think about me anodizing the drop black, but keeping the standoffs silver?  (BTW, yeah I made the drop, I have access to a complete metal shop and I have my own rather large woodworking shop.)

Personally, I didn't like the way it looked.  It doesn't look much like a handle, that's why I picked the female...

Yeah, if you get the ring kit, it will attach to any standard drop...

Nope...  None that I know of, other than looks or placement convenience...

I like it. I'd get a R/T, E-Bolt or double trigger. Also an electric hopper and paint the drop.

sorry -> bump

BTW, this must be the new Tippmann double trigger for the C98 because as you'll notice, the trigger guard goes back up into the single guard slot.  No need to cut the grips....
