I don't have many posts on here, but I've owned a Tippmann for about 5 years now. I just bought a 88/4500 high pressure tank. It works fine, but the gass effiency is ungodly terrible. I mean, I doubt I even shot 700 rounds and my tank was empty. I don't have any air leaks that me or my proshop guy could find. HELP! What's wrong?

are you getting full fills?

On my A-5 I get about 1000 shots off of a fill.

maybe your using too much velocity combined with a barrel too long like 18 or 16 iches. The combinations of the high velocity output and preasure for the barrel could be as though 2 shots in one shot. Its just a theory.

Add a Palmer Stabilizer (secondary pressure regulator) to your marker which will allow you to drop operating pressures to about 500 psi and still have the marker work well. Add a LPK and get down into the 350 to 400 psi range. The lower the pressure at which you can get the marker to operate properly the less gas you will consume.

Get an E-Bolt to add to the Palmer and the  LPK and drop operating pressures to 200 psi or less... or buy an Angel.

Sorry, It's an A-5.  Yes, I'm getting full fills, but theres no reason to be only getting 700 rounds off of an 88/4500. Al for the Palmer, I don't have the money for one.

My chrono speed was about 250 and the barrel is a 16in. Evil Pipe Kit.

Isn't there a LPK for the A-5? I have held a A-5 with a Palmer that was running great at 500 psi.(mirror polish and lithium grease on all the "O" rings.

I think the drive spring can have an effect on that. What other upgrades/modifications do you have? That would help.

Is God real? You'll find out when you die.

Okay, I don't have a clever signature zinger. So sue me.
