For anyone interested, CPX will be hosting a charity game Aug. 8th for the Public Safety Officers Fund (psof.org). This organization provides monetary relief to the families of firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty. Adult donations are $20, kids are $15. The cost to rent equipment is $15, and paint prices can be found on CPX's website. Prizes will be awarded during the day, and a large picnic event will follow the day's paintball activities. For ticket info please contact Duty Disabled P.O. Jack Deheer @ 773-239-2611. Tickets need to be purchased by Aug. 3rd. If you're in the Chicago land area this August or are just looking to take part in a worthy cause, please consider attending this event and assisting the families of fallen public safety officers.

Unfortunately, the psof.org site does not have the info for this event up yet. I'm basically just trying to spread the word for a good cause, and I understand the lack of accessible info regarding this event on the internet (I think the organizer mainly targeted fellow police officers instead of the paintball community at large). You can however, call the number listed above or any number listed on the flyer regarding ticket purchases or more info. I have a scanned image of the event flyer which can be found on the second link above. If that site gets bogged down, let me know if you would like me to email you the flyer.
