I have a 98c wwith a  rt,  exp chambre, and flatline.  I was  wonderin, What would be better, a 98 with an ebolt/egrip, or a Smart Parts Ion.  For speed ball.

Ya an Ion cause of its features and trigger.  It also has a vert feed which is helpful in speedball.

My guns name is Mr. Max in remembrance of my dog that got hit by a car: Tippmann A-5
Ricochet R-5
JCS double Trigger
Tippmann E-Grip
Flatline Barrel

Do you have the need for speed?

The Ion is the better gun. Just keep in mind that you need either need to run anti-siphoned co2 or Nitro (I suggest Nitro by a lot).

Ion no doubt, but I prefer the b2k4 w/ pds over the Ion.
