It's all personal preference. Too me it's just a waste of money. But if you think that you would have fun with one then get one.

I hear that they are way fun to shoot and are easy to use.  I say yes.  At my field there is a close quarters indoor speedball/hyperball field where its just bunkering everyone and the guys with pistols do best.

My guns name is Mr. Max in remembrance of my dog that got hit by a car: Tippmann A-5
Ricochet R-5
JCS double Trigger
Tippmann E-Grip
Flatline Barrel

Do you have the need for speed?

Not worth it, the ONLY time it would ever be worth it is if your gun breaks in a game and I have never had that happen.

for use as a primary marker, definately... for a backup, probably not.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.

yes definately in seniro games, you might run out of primary ammo in the middle of a fire fight and then you have your trusty back-up sidearm. (see link bellow)

If you like scenarios then I would say yes. I have a crappy one that I got cheap ($45 for a PT Xtreme was a good deal) and there were a few situations where I found myself looking to use the pistol rather than my A5. I usually use it for suicide runs where I need to move quick while taking a few shots or if I'm in the middle of a big fight and I run out of ammo. In that case I'd use the pistol to help me get out of the fighting. I have also played a few pistols only games and those were really fun. If you're not into woodsball or scenarios then I would definitely advise against it but otherwise I would pick one up just to mess around with. My PT Xtreme is Xtremely crappy so I wouldn't recommend getting that one but I hear the Zeus series by armotech is good.

If others were playing with pistols too, then sure. Otherwise, I'd get pods and just refill.

My friend has a delta 68 and has had some serious problems with leaks so you might want to search for a bunch of reviews to see if that's common. My PT Xtreme leaked at first but I fixed it by adjusting the CO2 holder so it would press the 12 gram harder (little adjuster by the lever), I don't know if the delta 68 has that or if that would fix it though. If the delta is the same price as a zeus though, I would go with the zeus. I don't think I've heard anything bad about them yet and they've been around for a while.
