A while ago there was that whole WMD "scare" in Iran. How can Pakistan AND Israel be allies (or was I thinking of Palistine?). I don't like Russia because they are a lead competetor in military technology (I guess). And we have to rid the world of teh AIDS place (Africa). And I forgot to mention that I would also make LAKE FRANCE! Then I would force homosexuals out of the country. Make it impossible for anyone to immigrate accross teh southern border. Any person who illegally crosses teh US southern border gets a .50 slug in them. |

Checks and Balances yo. I would tell the Russian officialls to screw off (not the people of Russian, cause they like us). I would put huge tax breaks on biofuels and companies that kept their factories over here. I would also spend more money of cancer research. And Id tell Nasa just to give up, start a new Aerospace Division. Id tell the local governments to figure out what they want to do about homosexual marriges and abortions. |

You never made a quantitative comparison regarding the powers of a single man in regards to Congress or the SC. You said who is more powerful. As president, a mechanism of a larger body of government, you cannot imply you are trying to compare his power to other individual men. make us canada? 1) i would push hard for a personal retirement plan. 2)send MORE troops to iraq and more armored vehicles (not thin skinned humvees) 3) i would have shot down the bill letting the local government to take property for any reason that will benafit their pockets...i mean the neighborhood... 4)start buying land from canada to expand the US. not alot just enough to expand another row of states above our northern boarder. 5) buy part of mexico to do the same. 6) beef up the boarder between mexico and USA. some of this is big stuff that i dont think the US could do anymore but it would be on my list of things to do... i would probly make laws pro **edited** marrage however i would not make anylaws making the church have to preform one. I have been thinking about this for a long time. It seems to me that our federal government is inefficient and inefective. I think this country would be better if state governments, which better represent the people in their geographic region, played a larger role in creating programs and making laws. I know that that probably didnt make much sense, I'll try to clarify later -------------

At face value, that's good logic. However, I don't feel like thinking into it to try and find a problem. I think a lot of the problems with the government is not so much not paying attention to the Constitution, but misinterpreting it. If the founding fathers were still around, they'd probably kick our asses for what we've done with the government. |

How will taking the confederate flag down from southern capitols save the country its dignity? We have no dignity. We have no high culture what so ever. If we want dignity, we need to be on our best behavior in other countries. If we want dignity our foreign policy needs to change. We go to other countries and trash them up and leave. Our decorum is deplorable. Our teenagers drink themseves to death at college, we kill eachother while being drunk while driving. This doesnt happen nearly as often in other countries. Countries like france, britain, spain. WHat are you smoking? What makes you think that is a good idea in ANY sense of the manner? We have nukes for a reason. They are a detterent against other countries. Since we used the nukes in Japan, not a SINGLE country has attacked us. Becasue of the nukes, countries are scared to attack us directly, so they fun terrorist.
