My dad just bought a 98 with a flatline and wants to buy a faster hopper for it. Which would better for mostly woods ball, also he want to put an R/T on it.

well I voted for the halo because if you get an R/T
and tweak it good enough you can get 20bps and
thats in the halo range so consider that

Your dad's r/t isn't going to be going 22 bps. A revvy will keep up with it or if you want to go a step up, get the egg.

Why? Eggs are better and cost about the same or less.

the eggy only does 17bps, the apache does 20, how is that the better?
plus the eggy looks fugly, and the apache doesnt, and the apache has a
deflection design that actually does work(i've tested it) and the eggy
definitly doesnt

I like the Ricochet better because i have prodlems with the battery door on the egg
and yes the deflection desing works but half the time it deflects into your gogle

Both hoppers feed 19 bps and the eggy is 20 bucks cheaper. Do looks matter anyways? If you are willing to pay $20 because of the deflection design, go right ahead.

It has stuff on the inside so the paintballs don't make sound when they rattle in the hopper

Get the Egg Z-Boarded for an up-to 22-23 bps feed rate (drop test) and the latest shells have better door ears and battery doors.

before you buy, take a look at a Q-loader. They can shoot 31+ BPS, and are similar to a warp feed. They are spring loaded tubes, or clips, and can be put anywhere on the gun. I think they are a good idea for a woods baller.
Pros: 31 BPS, can mount the tube anywhere on the gun (smaller profile), quick loading, no batteries, and you can shoot the gun reguardless of the angle you are on.
Cons: the tubes are expensive, and time consuming to fill. Cant top off the hopper(tubes) during game play. 100 rounds/ tube
I think it would be great to add to a flatline/ RT 98. IT will keep up with the gun, allow you to tilt the gun on the side, and fairly quick to load. Check out qloader.com
