I dont know why people want to put stuff on there guns that is going to make them shoot slower, is made out of plastic and creates more front profile. Just stick to a hopper like an Egg or if you can afford a Halo or Empire that would be even better. *just my 2 cents worth -------------

| Yes, it supposidly is run of excess gas but I think the gun uses more gas in the first place. The A-5 will use more gas than it really needs to just to be able to run the cyclone or r/t. This is why some people call it a gas hog. |

It is a blowback action, very inefficent and gas leaks out the frame but hey, that's Tippmann. I don't think the 98 cyclone kit adjusts anything to raise the amount of gas used per shot. ------------- Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken! |

I don't think the 98c does either. It probably uses less gas with the cyclone then the A-5 does. That would make an interesting experiment. If I had a stock A-5 and a 98c with just a cyclone, I could try it out. |

Most of the internals are supposed to be the same I hear. Not much difference, all Tippmann semi's are gas eaters (blowback actions) ------------- Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken! |

There are times we all need to lay some paint down, even in woods if ya say no then you aint no woods baller! I prefer speed/stealth and accuracy over anything. Adding a cyclone to a 98C is doing the opposite. But not everyone plays the same so some may like it. Whatever. -------------

i find my a-5 has a problem with gas, i get like 600 shots out of my 20oz which is why im getting a big hpa in december, apparently u get more out of those and i want more consistency in my shots, i find my a-5 to work perfectly other tahn that, besides, whats $5 for all day air....

I'm sorry but I don't agree that the cyclone is to slow. If you don't want an electronic hopper or to spend the money on something like a Q-loader then I think the cyclone is a good buy. I haven't had problems with mine yet and I have put thousands of balls through it. Shooting +20 balls per second just means you will be reloading more. Rember firepower is hits per minute, not balls per second. What does a hopper have to do with stealth (besides Q-loader because they don't bounce around) and accuracy? ------------- Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken! |

I play in florida where its 80* in the winter time lol. I have no idea why but like i said i pay $5 and get air for free all day instead of payin $3 to refill.
