can i install an expansion chamber on a 98c where the hose goes into the gun.

Yeah, what gun are you talking about. If you're talking about a 98c then you need to buy a vetical adapter.

You need a vertical adapter kit from Tippmann. Most of them come with an x-chamber anyway, so its all you need.

Or you can buy the vertical adapter separate for about $15-20. This way you have a choice between expansion chambers instead of just using the Tippmann one.

Anything can be done with enough creativity. But the "proper" way to do it is replace the front grip with an expansion chamber using the vertical adapter.

i was hoping to mount it back futher for a more compact marker, and possibly mill the fore-grip off.

in that case you'll probably need to make an adaptor, or mabey you can buy a x-chamber with the 1/8" NPT threads on not sure you'll have to check it out

it may, i don't know what spyders have for threads if it's 1/8" npt threads you're all set, i think spyder uses goofy threads though. if anyone knows help us out

Not entirely sure. Has something to do with the threading and how far apart they are.
