Subject: Check out my Custom 98

Definatly not completed, but I couldn't wait to post it.

-Custom 98
-Flatline barrel
-Adjustable stock
-Cyclone feed
-30mm BSA Reddot scope (not plastic)
-Heavy duty laser site
-3 point Sling (not attached)
-*Edit* Sorry I forgot to attach the remote also
I know I need and plan on getting:
-Expasion chamber
-Response Trigger
-Would love a new barrel tip if I could figure out that its possible to remove the old one and mount the new.
-Would love a false clip for if I knew It was possible.
Thanks for any comments

I love the cyclone...I know I was only using the stock hopper, but it
would skip a ball here and there when firing fast...since the cyclone
it hasn't missed a beat.

That gun looks terrific! I love the cyclone. In addition to the R5, I
think you should get a regulator instead of an expansion chamber.

Yea I am really considering the R-5 now that thing looks cool and its
pretty cheap, and I like the fact that its padded inside of it to quiet
the paintballs...I hate running around sounding like a gumball machine

Yes you can actually remove the barrel tip. Just twist it back
and forth for a while and it the just slides off. Any ideas on a
good replacement to quiet even further?

Not sure...i'm not really going for quite so much, just one that doesn't look like the Flatline's. I will have to look around

Personally I am not a fan of that kind of look. I feel that it makes the gun altogether too long. If I had a 98custom, I am not sure if I would put a cyclone on it or not. I might opt for a Ricochet ak Apache attack loader, so light.
Although an R-5 would add the deflection and sleeker.
I mean, it really looks like a "98sniper" with a cyclone and lazer.
I've seen plenty of 98snipers with red dots and such so its pretty much got a cyclone to set it apart.
I would reccomend a regulater over x-chamber. The palmer stabilizer(male) actually with a verticle adapter of course. A r/t sounds real good. If you added those two items it would perform well and still have the looks.
Bottom line, not really my cup of tea but with a little lovin I think it could be king/queen of the woods.

No, the R-5 is a replacement hopper that has sleeker cuts to deflect paintballs more and has padded insides to reduce rattle and I guess most people just think it looks cooler
Here is a link so you can check one out.

Thanks...The laser is good for when the sun is going down you can't see
it when it is bright out....it's also good for intimidation they
suddenly see a red dot on them and realize they are about to get hit,
but have no idea where it is coming from so they don't know where to
hide

No, the only thing that took awile was the flatline needing to come off
and then reinstalled and aligned again...about a hour or so
