So, I found som Ramen in
the microwave from yesterday or last night, or something, anyways, I'm
eating, and it starts to taste funny, then I notice a gaping hole in
the side, an no styrofoam to be found, which can only mean I slowly ate
my way through a styrofoam cup and didn't notice until nearly half the
side was gone...

I admit, I didn't read a thing written in this topic. Instead, I saw it as an opportunity to share my most amazing ramen story. The other night my friend came over after work for some Ramen and TV and if you let ramen sit, the broth makes lines and such in it from it seperating from the water. Well he asked it if I was gonna get any *other word for cat* this weekend, stirred it up, and we waited and it spelled out yes VERY clearly. I couldn't stop laughing. Well, no longer than 12 hours, and when you think about it, not really, it musta stayed hot in there long enough to not allow bacteria, as it was still warm when I got it out, and I mean come on.... it's Ramen! -------------

Unless the tempurture of the ramen was over 210 degrees farenheight when you pulled it from the microwave all you did was create an ideal enviorment for bacteria. They happen to enjoy nutrient rich warm liquid enviorments. Actually, it's dry, I don't know why, it was full of water. Also, I think the water had been there so long it just softened the styrofoam so much that it came apart with little force. -------------
