i just bought the tippmann 98 custom , i was wondering if it is normal that the elbow moves about .5mm when you kinda shake the gun. the part near the front sight. THANKS, also i was wondering about flatline barrels, i know with balls the better the bore the better they work with the barrel, i dont feel like spending like $40 for 1000 paintballs, is it worth it, and do practice grade and other lesser quality balls work fine enough for playing ------------- Tippmann 98 Custom: Cyclone Feeder Reponse Trigger Flatline Barrel System Expansion Chamber |

| Yes, it is normal that it moves around. Put an o-ring around the feedneck to prevent this. Or just put like three pieces of electrical tape right under where the paint feeds. I have heard that the flatline isn't as picky on paint as people say it is but I'm not sure if that is true. I think Zaps would work pretty well. They are only $30 for a case of 2000. |

The "O" ring solution works. As for the paint, small diameter is what is needed. Uniform paint shoots better in any barrel, so the correct size good quality. But I find that Diablo Heat shoots exceptionally well...nearly as well as All Star and close to Marballizer. And 888paintball.com has an ongoing sale of 5 cases of Heat for $150. That is $30 a case. My son and I have been using it almost exclusively now since January. We have few breaks in the barrel and shot to shot consistency is really good on the speedball course. |
