how exactly does the inside of a 98 custom work? i figured out my avenger 3 by looking at the bolt and some of the inside, but i dont know how the 98 custom works. if you could draw a diagram or put a labeled picture on here that would be cool. thanks

sry im not to good with internet or electronics to give a link but the 98 works in a colum formation starting from the back it has a rearbolt connected to the front bolt when you cock the rearbolt back and it locks on the sear ,when its realeased it hits a pin oppening the valve realising co2 or compressed air throuch the power tube(their is a velocity screw in the power tube that blocks the propellent limiting how much come out.)and the front bolt pushes the ball past the detent where it then gets powered by the propellent out of the barrel. their you go a simple written explination of how the 98 custom works.

now im going to lie down cause explaning that has made my head hurt.lol

The 98 is very simple.  What happens is the co2 goes up the hose into the valve and when the trigger is pulled it releases the sear and that releases the rear bolt which sends the pressurized gas to behind the front bolt which then goes forward and smacks the ball and then it recocks and you do it again.
