ok so heres the deal:

my dad ordered a Custom Products Razor Drop Forward and since i have a 98C, i need to buy an ASA (i am looking at a CP asa on/off). The asa does not have a hole in the back like the 98c asa does. instead it is on the side of the asa. i need to buy a 90 degree elbow so that the air line can attach to the asa and i want to use stock 98c air line.

question:

How do i detach the bottom part of my stock 98c airline from the stock 98c air source adapter?

do i jsut unscrew it or do i need a wrench? HELP!

you will need a wrech. Actually 2 wrenches, one to hold the ASA, and the other to unscrew it.

3/4" wrench for the ASA (bench vise works better) and 7/16" wrench for the hose

ok but i mean like are all of the CP ASA's on/off?

Are ASA's that are on the market on/off?

ARE ON/OFF ASA'S EVEN WORTH IT??? WHAT ARE ITS ADVANTAGES?

is an ASA on/off better than regular ASA without on/off

Yes, the On/Off's are better for a couple of reasons. The first is that you don't lose air screwing in your tank. Another reason that they are better is that you won't shred o-rings like you would without an on/off.

On/offs are very useful in my opinion.
