They are pretty close to the same. Besides a few minor differences. It's up to you.

the xtra money you pay for the egrip is pointless(in my opinion) because you have almost all the features of the egrip if you have a responce trigger

I like the 98c much better. It is more of a woodsball gun than the custom pro.

You can do the same things to a CP that you can to a 98c and more. If you don't need an e-grip, drop, double trigger, and werks barrel though, the Custom Pro probably isn't for you.

If you get a 98 custom you can put upgrades on it according to how you play. The custom pro is more of a speedball marker.

I'd get a Custom Pro. They just took the Custom, and added all the things that were sorely needed to play speedball (drop, e-trigger). They also added a much better barrel, and went the extra step to polish the internals. For the few extra dollars, it's worth the price.

custom pros are better with the drop on it, the double tigger, and an 11 inch barrel. besides its like 30 dollars more or something for a custom pro so you mine as well get one.
