It means you posted the same topic 3 times which you souldn't do. You only need 1 thread to get a question answered.

wow...anyways

the apex barrel does shoot farther than the flatline. not much, but it does none the less. you can curve shots, but its takes time to learn it and learn the adjuster on the apex. you will have to learn how much curve to adjust for at what distances and all that fun stuff.
its going to be pretty much the same accuracy as the flatline. if you have a flatline already, you might not notice much difference. but if you don't have the flatline, it might be worth while to pick up the apex. expically if you have a 98 and want the flatline for the range. its easier to get on and off and not you won't have to worry about it being strait.
easier to clean easier on paint. but its not a plug and play barrel. there is going to be a learning curve unless you put it on flatline, super range mode and leave it there.

why type of paintball so you play? woods ball?

since you have a 98, i am going to start telling people to get the apex barrel. if you break a ball, you can clean it it out easy, just like a normal barrel.

if you got the flatline, not only do you have to worry about having it installed right, shooing the right paint, being consistant, and at the proper FPS, but if you break a ball, your done until you can take it off (not fast) and clean it out really good.

the apex barrel will get rid of all those problems. i love my flatline, so i am not going to get the apex barrel...yet. i also have a A-5 and i can change my barrel in about 5 seconds.

so if you want flatline range and have a 98. i think the apex is the way to go. simply becuase it will be faster and easier to manage then the 98 flatline.

So what you are really saying is that the barrel is cheating?

It pretty much just sucks the fun and difficulty out of paintball. You feel great when you wait for your shot and hit the guy dead on. With this barrel, tatics become almost worthless when you can just shoot around everything.

It isn't cheating its just employing new technology in order to win. Plus, its not like you just shoot and it automatically processes the distance from the target and the amount of curve it should put on the ball and does it all by itself. It will take a lot of skill and practice to get it to curve correctly.

I don't think the curving around bunkers thing will work very well anyway but i do think the drop down and flatline designs will work well.
