damn straight. I get tired of the indian crap too. If I went into ALL my views, I'd gte guested....again..... but what all you need to know is that its been 200 years. We beat them, the land is ours, they should feel lucky they still get to live here. I mean, whats the last country you saw go take over another one and let all the people stay an live there, then after all that give them monthly penisons. One of my favorite movies is Bulworth. In it, the senator goes on live tv and starts telling the interviewer that we need to do away with white people, at which point the interviewer is shocked. Then he goes on to say we need to do away with black people, and asian people and all kinds of people. We need to mix and breed until we're all the same color. it wasnt for this thread, it was one he made right after getting his strike. I think it would be better if you heard it from rambino, but hes not on. He made a rascist thread about african americans and immigrants with a link to a rascist website where before the link he posted, "if you hate (rascial slur often heard in rap music) then click here". strikes. I got one for flaming Mike and WGP, and after reading how I
voiced my opinion, I clearly deserved it. You don't see me whining why?

The question (that only you can answer) is whether your dislike for "gangstas" is really a proxy for a dislike for race. Do you, deep down, dislike gangstas because they represent blackness? Resent white gangstas because they are adopting black mannerisms? Dislike low-slung pants simply because they are different? I dont have any opinion on race or ethnicity. My neice is black, and her black family comes from... the other side of town you might say. All of them "gangster" i cant stand them. Everytime i show my face at a BBQ or to pick her up. They call me white boy and such. A number of other names. I dont particularly care for it.. My neice is bi racial and i dont look at her any differently than any other of my white family. Between her and I. Race has only become an issue once. When she was 4 of 5. She came up to me lookin all said. And i asked her what was the matter. She came up to me and sat on my lap and said "JD, i wish i was white" we had a talk about what it meant her having brown skin and me having white skin. We have had the same talk a couple times. Now she loves having brown skin. At the beech she says. "JD has to wear lotion not meeeee!" Shes a happy kid, and i will not stand her being teased because of her skin. Justin her half brother does sometimes, hes a hick from stafford county. The rest of the family doesnt do that.

I should have gone more in detail but I couldn't really think of a way
to describe it. I guess what I meant was gangstas to the effect of
criminals. They live their lives as criminals. With things like
fighting, mugging, robbing, etc. The people that would stab someone
with a knife just because they looked at them funny, would kill someone
because they started something, not even that big. If that helps

I recently saw a politcal "cartoon" that was more serious than funny. It had a sign above a playground that said "poverty park", and all of the playground equipment said things. The slide said "dropping percentage of graduates"; the merrygoround said "constant cycle of poverty", and the see-saw had "rise in teenage deaths" on the higher part. At the side of the playground was a sign that said "The way out". On the other side of the open gate was a school bus that said "Education". This expresses something I firmly believe in. News Flash! All of the people who grow up in poverty don't become successfull business men or even hold well paying jobs. There are TONS of people who grow up poor, and end up dropping out of school to and being poor thier ENTIRE lives. Where do you get your information from? You are basically saying that nobody is ever poor for thier whole life. If the average American stayed in poverty, then it would no longer be poverty. I wa just going by Webster's first deffinition. I think that if you don't make so much $ a year, then you are considered to be living "in poverty". Either way, we are arguing stupid stuff over a political cartoon that was showing how education kept people out of poverty. I think we should get back to the Klansman metting. I have a friend who is getting kicked out of her house as soon as she turns 16, which happens to be just a couple of days before school. She will have to find a place to live, a job, and then attend school at the same time. She will need to go from a kid living with her mom, to an independant woman over the course of a day. She doesnt even have a place to sleep for her birthday. She has no one to help or support her. Now, tell me that when she is eventually forced to stop attending school, to get a full time job, to pay for rent, utilities, food, and whatnot, it is because she just doesn't care. ------------- Tenacious and Versatile |

| ACtually people, poverty is living at or below subsistence (sp) level. This means if you have just enough or not enough food, water, shelter for day to day life, then you are in poverty. And dbib, i dont care about the ancestors thing cause that was long ago. I care about the comment rockerdoode made about teh tobacco stands.
