Me and Cedric decided it was time for a thread to see if any of you guys love rocking polo shirts as much as we do. What kind of polos do you have? How many? Whats your favorite brand? I have..
  • 5 Polo polos Red, Light Blue, White and Blue striped, Yellow, and an awesome Teal like color
  • 3 Abercrombie polos in Red and white striped, Dark blue with an aqua like Moose, and a Dark green with a light blue Moose
  • 3 AE polos, I dont like em, they are really wide
  • 3 Hollister polos, 2 were a gift, one mustard like yellow with different color stripes, one green and white with tiny aqua lines, and one grey
You guys? Polo and A&F being my favorite.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but your starting to get really annoying.  You never post anything postitive.  Nobody is cool unless they are as "punk" or "rebellious" as you.  Get over yourself...

Some people enjoy looking good.  It's high school, so yes, some males time do revolve around females.  You only get to be young once, and I'm not gonna waste mine arguing politics.  If someone likes to spend money to look good, let them.  Stop thinking your the head of some intellectual forefront because you decide that anyone who spends money on a car or clothes is a snob.

Preps...   A&F sucks.  I could go buy a shirt at wal-mart.  Cut out the letters AF in a different color fabric and sow them on myself and it would look like a Abercrombie shirt.  It would last longer too!

Then do it.  Nobody said it has to cost something to be good.  But if you have the money and it makes you feel good about yourself, why not?  I personally like A&F and Hollister polo's because I have a somewhat slim/muscular frame, and Polo's from Wal-Mart don't fit as tight with the right length as some from the places mentioned above.  I think it's a shame that someone get's called a "lame ass" for something they decide to wear.

I play football and baseball, and not all of the "preps/jocks" wear polos, so there is no point in throwing stereotypes around...

If a $4 T-shirt(and I have some of those as well), is what you feel comfortable and good in, then by all means, wear it.  But don't put down me because I like to look nice.

I don't like saying I flamed anyone, I just was speaking my opinion.  Because I usually have been a fan of TKD, but lately he's been acting like nobody can reach the supreme powers that he holds.  I'm not mad, I'm just saying just because some people have money doesn't mean their arrogant assholes.

Ok  I didn't mean to put anybody down.  I apologize.  I just don't see how anybody could drop that much on clothes.  When you can get the same thing from wal-mart or Kohl's.  I dont' believe for a minute that you can't find clothes like that at a place like wal-mart or target etc. that won't fit you like a A&F shirt.

I understand, and I've looked at Goody's and such, but like I said, they don't fit like a Hollister polo.  I've gotten to where I can't by anything bigger than a Small from American Eagle and I'm 6'2" because the shirts are so wide.  I'm not going to lie, I like them for the labels as well, but If it makes me feel good, why should I be called lame for doing so?

Like I said, I'm not calling you lame.  I guess the first post I made did sound a lil bitter.  I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put you down.  I see where you are coming from.  I guess I just never understood how people could afford that stuff because I never could when I was younger.  Now that I am making my own money, I can't understand spending that much of it on that.  No more need to defend yourself.

No, spending so much money to 'look nice' is lame.

Did...did whale just get pwnt?

I don't think I've ever seen this happen...

I honestly like my Polo brand polos a lot better than my Goody's ones. The material just feels better and they fit nice.

I know for a fact that you have never even so much as touched an A&F or a Polo, polo. Every polo has a totally different style and feel and fit to it. And all you will find at Wal Mart is bad quality.

I don't understand why there is the mentality that you have to have a collar to look nice. Is a collar a status symbol? I probably haven't worn a shirt with a collar this year, and I haven't been told I look like I "just woke up," or that I look like scum.

i hate american eagle polo's cause they fade like instantly.

-1 orange polo from AE (faded out the ying yang)

-2 izod polos, 1 blue, 1 yellow

-6 polo polos, one green, one red, one blue and green, one with a pattern, one lime green, and one cool blue.

-1 lacoste polo, red

-2 AF polos with the moose, one red pattern, and one gray

edit* post pics of your shirts now!!!

I've got tons of polos from Old Navy, some shirts from places like St. Johns Bay, etc.

The polo is my favorite choice of shirt, they're casual, comfortable and great.

The rest of you go put on your X as I lay dying shirt and try and fit your wimpy penis into your emo pants.

Nono, you dont have to wear collared shirts to look nice, theres tons of other ways, but a collared shirt is usually nice. Most people like them. I've got a white and green button up short with a collar and I get compliments on it almost every time I wear it.

As for dropping $$$ for clothing, I'm deffinitly guilty in that area...
