If you have a model 98 you can buy that one that Bruce A. Frank showed you. If you have a 98c you are gonna have to keep looking on ebay.

You have to drill an additional hole in the 98C grip area so that you can reach the the adjustment controls, with a small screw driver, on the board.

The Custom Pro E comes with an EGRIP, not an E-Bolt. The E-Bolt is much better because it is electro-pneumatic, instead of just being a sear tripper.

Yes, you can do that but it still will not fit in the 98c without further modification. Inside the grip frame on a 98c is different from a model 98.  The board that comes with the e-bolt in your link will not fit into a stock 98c frame. I know because I bought one and it didn't fit(from the same guy).

Dude,

How about $120, brand new in the box on E-Bay.

Well, that certainly is not my experience. Everything fell into place  with a little bit of touch up with a Dremel and a couple of drilled holes. This is the unit from Apollo Paintball and my marker is a 4 year old 98C.

The only thing that caused any real dificulty was room for the in-the-grip battery. Also, something I didn't like, there is no on/off switch...which I added. From my collection of parts I found one of the battery holders that attaches to the outside of the receiver. I installed longer wires and everything works like it is supposed to.

Now, I did this installation to see what it takes. I bought the Apollo unit for spare parts since I already had the Tippmann E-Bolt kit. Now either unit fits my 98C.

Well anyway to clarify things I emailed Tippmann and they said that if all the parts are there they could install the kit in a 98c.

They said THEY could. That might still mean they will have to modify the recievers.

You have no mechanical inclination do you? Never had a Dremel in your hand? I think I said in a later post that I have put this in my 98C with nothing more than a drill and a Dremel tool.

BUT, even then, what are you griping about? The unit costs $120 on Ebay and Tippman installs it! Seems like the best of all worlds to me.

so you can just lay it right in there you just have to drill one simple hole in the grip

No! Go do some reading on this group about ALL the things that have been said as to what needs to be done to make this kit fit a 98C...on second thought, after you have bought the unit and it takes you 30 minutes to make it fit you are going to be back here telling us all how you were mislead...and it is too hard...and you wasted money!!!

So DO NOT buy the M98 E-Bolt. It will not fit your 98C and you cannot make it fit!!!
