Paintballers!,

Last year we had the largest group on EZOfficePool.com. Let's see if we can do it again.

Join now and play each week for your shot at CountyPaintball.com Gift Certificates. Each week, the winner will get a $10 Gift Certificate. The overall site winner will get a $25 Gift Certificate.

It's free to join so spread the word. Please only one entry per person though. The group name is 'Paintballers' and the password is 'gogged'. You can use the link at the right to join or just go to EZOfficePool.com and choose to join the group.

http://www.EZOfficePool.com/join_team.php?WhichTeam=66&Gpass word=gogged

If you know anyone who runs a football pool, please tell them about EZOfficePool.com.

Also If you remember, last year I ran an NPPL pool with a bunch of different groups to represent each of the main forums. It was a lot of fun, but this year, I'm doing it differently.

I'm running one NPPL and one NXL pool. (Open X-Ball doesn't have enough teams, I used NXL for the PSP events)
Both pools are being run on http://www.EZOfficePool.com.

The pools are named 'County 06 NXL' and 'County 06 NPPL'. The password for both is 'gogged'.

You may play in both pools but only one username per group. No doubling up user accounts to increase your odds.

Empire has agreed to donate one Reloader B to the first place winner of each event. I will once again give a $25 Gift Certificate to 2nd place for each event. I will try to get some other companies to donate gifts. If I'm successful, I will shift the prizes for finishing places based on retail value. For example, if Redz gives a new eNVy pack, that will become the 2nd place price and my gift cert will be given to 3rd.

It's free to join. If anyone wants to start a pool of their own, let me know.

Tell your friends. Everyone is welcomed to join both pools.

If you're already in a pool on EZOfficePool.com, log in before joining the new group. That will link your users for an EZ switch between pools.

If you have any questions, post them here or email me. The first NXL event is in February. The first NPPL event is in March.

There are 11 tournaments, so you'll get 11 shots at it.

I'm going to really try and get more companies to donate but we'll see what happens. Last year Empire was the only one that got involved, but we started late so I really couldn't promote it as well.

Thank you.
Mike Everland

Glad to see people signing up. First day with the group online and we've already got about 30 people. I'm hoping for over 200 though, so spread the word.

Last year we didn't use spreads. This year we are so it will be a little more tricky.

Also, be sure to turn on your "auto picks". That way, if you ever forget to make your picks, you'll at least get something. You can set auto picks to "All Favorites, All Underdogs, All Home, All Away or Random". Auto picks will NOT make a tiebreaker points selection for you though, so don't count on them all the time. Just turn them on in case you forget.

If you have any comments, complaints or suggestions about the EZOfficePool.com website, let me know. I think it's a lot better than last year.

Mike

Nope. I think were going to have a repeat season for pittsburgh this year, only with a ring to end it.

Pittsburgh should be strong. I'd put them in the top 2 or 3 this year but anything can happen during a season with injuries and such.

We have about 50 people in our group but still need more. Spread the word.

Thanks

PS: Torso Bob says he's gonna win it all, every week!

looks like I chose a good night to stop in....
Ill go sign up now....

Lets see if i can win it this yr as well

BTW: steelers arent gonna be a top 2 or 3 team.
The departure of Plaxico is going to really hurt, teams are going to be able to double cover Hines ward. And have the other safety help with Randle El if he has a breakout year. The draft of Heath Miller will help, but he is no Plaxico Burress. And as much as I love Big Ben....theres no way he repeats last yrs performance. Bettis isnt too healthy either.

good thing I had Autopick on when I was absent for 3 weeks.

I never knew greenbay could be this... Bad...  There division is really stinking, I think a 7-9 team is going to make the playoffs.

Oakland is Hungry, if not starving I advise some of you to pick them, every game they've played that they have lost has been a really close one.

Plenty of time left. A few good weeks will help you gain some ground on the leaders. Besides, you always have a shot at winning any specific week, even if the yearly prize is out of reach.

I just signed up!

Also, Panda Man thank you very much! I am a Raider fan, and despite their record, this is one year where I am actually proud of my team and like how they're hitting the field with a ton of heart.

They still go into that garbage prevent defense when they have the lead! I hate that!

If you are winning the game playing aggressive defense, keep playing aggressive defense!

One day I plan to own the Raiders and fix all this, just FYI.

Haha, today, my upset pick was the 49ers! They are at home and the spread is 14, so I had to take the chance!

I know Payton will probably shred them, but I'm a Bay Area California boy so I got to show some love for the local teams.

Heck yeah!

The worst thing about it was, I HAD the Rams as my upset pick, but since I was getting hosed this weekend I was second guessing myself, and at the last minute I switched my pick to the Colts!

if you saw how the game started, you would see where I'm coming from! I figured the Rams were gonna win just to spite me, but the Colts pulled it out to get me a pity win. LOL

Great game, made even better by "the spread". Nice.

^From the push of the Cowboys game

This week was bitter-sweet for me! I got 8.5 points, but I forgot to pick the Chiefs on friday so I missed out on a point!

I would have had 9.5 and been my best score by far

Oh well, at least the Raiders won!

On a side note, does anybody else that watches ESPM notice some major East-coast bias? When my Raiders win, I can't even see the highlights! But I have seen 3 or 4 updates on Charles Woodson being injured!

Seems like they only like to report on us when it's bad news.....freaking haters!

When you go to EZOfficePool.com (and are signed in) you'll be on the User Control Panel. Find the week you want to make picks for and click on "Edit" beneath the "Action" heading. Select your pick for each game, put in your guess for the Monday night game's total points and submit picks. Each week, repeat until the season is over. Spreads are usually entered by Tuesday night.

BTW, does anybody know if Torso Bob is played by an actual person, or are his picks decided by some rule?  (All favorites, teams chosen by alpha order...)

Just curious.   Some of my other pools have artificial players that pick games on set rules.

Bullet? What bullet? They outplayed the Colts, how is that a bullet?

He's talking about the end of the game, when the Colts missed the field goal.

I actually didn't get to see the game. I was snowboarding and my dad screwed up the recording so it recorded the wrong thing.  I thought you were just saying that the Steelers just got lucky in beating the Colts, which it takes more than luck to do something like that.

^OMG dude, you missed probably one of the sickest football games of the year!

Honestly, I tripped the hell out when they reversed the Paumaulo dudes pick. I truly do think they wanted the Colts to win. Conspiracy!

I give the Colts credit for hanging in there, and taking advantage of the mistake, that's what they should do. But I didn't want them to win at that point......it would have been robbing the Steelers.

I did want to see the game go to OT, but it was kinda fitting that the kicker missed it all horribly like that.....what an idiot! He choked hard.

^ some of the Refs calls were horrid... I've seen bad calls but wow... I about shoved my foot threw my TV when the refs didn't call that interception.

^yep, the funniest thing I've heard, is the ref that made the Paomalo(?) call, lives in California, and people have been vandalizing his house!

California people will track you down and take it to your home like that.

But yeah, I saw a little special where they broke down all the horrible calls from the weekend, and broke down what kind of "punishment" the ref gets....basically, any ref that blows a big call in a big game, is gonna get demoted and not have the opportunity to work a big game, until he proves that he has what it takes and isn't gonna blow calls like a chump.

Go Steelers! First #6 seed ever to make it to the Super Bowl.

For our paintball pools, BallerVideos.com is also offering a prize so now we're up to at least 4 prizes per event. You can come in 4th and still win something!

I've contacted other paintball companies to see about prize donations. Hopefully we'll get even more.
