I am in desperate need of a new mask to handle this Florida humidity I can't get 5 mins. in before fogging. I know the perfered mask used to be the V-Force Morph, but I was wondering if that was still the case or is there another mask out recently for close to the same price I should try?
I see right now County has the Morph for $40, which is pretty good.

Profiler is going to be tough to beat, but the Morph uses the same lens, and costs less. At $40, the Morph may be the best bang for the buck right now.

I agree, isn't there a flesh eating virus going around down there? I like the Profiler.

A $30 vforce mask. As long as it doesn't fog I could care less what mask I have.

Get the Morph. For $40 you can't beat it.

Ok, bought the morph, I couldn't find a better price for such a highly rated mask, and I didn't want to pay another $30 for the profiler when the only difference is it makes you look like a reptile .

Thanks for the help.

Glad to see the V-Force craze has caught on! I remember buying my V-Force Shield and I still couldn't be any happier. I paid $40 for it a couple years ago and it still is going strong as ever.

To me, V-Force sold me on one thing: They don't even offer a thermal lense, yet they still resist fogging better than any other grands thermal lenses! That shows me they just do things better than the next guys.

Not to mention all the other advantages...the quick-change lenses are worth the price of admission alone!

Quick fact: Has anybody seen the Blade Tinity(part 3)? In it, the bad guys use V-Force masks! They look pimp as hell too. Check it out.

I don't think you'll be able to beat that $40 Morph...that is an absolutely killer deal.

I use a JT nVader. I bought it before I know about v-force and now I kind of regret it. It is still a good mask for the price though.

Jt Proteus chameleon...with fan. Can't beat it for the fog protection.

Dye invisions are good too.

I didn't like the profiler (tried one on) However, it's all about the feel of a mask. Personal preference plays a big role.

You should be fine with almost anything that has thermal lenses.

I bought the morph already, but I see that County also sells a replacment neck gaurd for the Shield $2..do you think you can get it to snap on the morph? That would be cool.

before buyign a new mask go out and buy some Fogtech anti fog wipes. Me and my buddies were playing in 95* heat, hottest day of the summer up here in ct, anyway the stuf works wonder jsut wipe in on the inside of your lens and your good to go, lasts as long as u need it too, and to remove just apply water, its 10 bucks for a 5 pack of wipes (expensive but it really works) and you can use it on 3 or 4 masks.

I have 1 and it has never fogged up on me...its easy 2 clean also...u can easily take of the lens and clean it...the profiler is lighter but cost a lil more

I don't know about with the addition of the fan, but V-Force don't fog either way, so I don't see how the Proteus resists fogging any better.

One has a thermal lense yet still needs a fan to stay fog-free, the other is only a treated single pane and never fogs.

Plus the V-Force has those quick-change lenses, and is cheaper to boot.

How would you know that?

I have taken my V-Force Shield into my small-ass restroom with me, with the shower on HOT, full blast, filling the small 6'X 3' room with steam....my Shield still has never fogged. They are chemically treated to resist fogging.

Teste have been shown that they resist fogging better than any other brand's THERMAL lenses.

You can hold the lenses over a pot of steaming water and they won't fog!

i honestly wonder how JT still thinks their masks are worth so much! They are too expensive, and really don't compete with the V-Force line...especially when you bring cost into the equation.

I disagree. I used to think the same thing, I thought my JT eNvader was a great mask, it was somewhat comfortable, and looked cool.

Then I tried a V-Force Shield, and wished I had done my research before spending my money on that JT garbage.

A mask is like the single most overlooked piece of equipment, IMHO, and people like to skimp on it, when it is basically the most important piece of gear there is.

Does anybody here wear glasses when they play?

I do; they fit in the mask I have now, the one that came with my 98 custom, but they press against my face and get so sweaty that I can't even see out of them. Is there a mask that is designed for people who wear glasses?

I live in Phoenix, AZ so I'm used to playing in the heat, 115+ F, but I have no idea what humidity means.
