Is it normal for the A-5 barrel adapter to be loose? I changed my barrel today and the adapter loosened as well when I took the barrel off. Is that normal or should I do something about it? I'm just worried about it getting too loose. Any feedback would be greatfully appreciated!!

Alright, I tried to tighten the two bolts, but they wont move at all, I think they're as tight as they can possibly go. Any other ideas?

hmm...that's odd if tightening the front two reciever screws didn't work. That always works for me. I have no idea.

I would just call tippmann and get them to send me a new barrel adapter.

On my A5 the thing was nuclear tight when the reciever bolts were tight.

Did you do anything crazy like polish your internals and polish where the adapter goes or something?

mine is the same way...front bolts tightened down all the way and will still turn and pull barrel off....i just use it as a quick release for any ball breaks (i use dirt cheap balls). makes for faster field strip to clear barrel
