Well I shiped my mag off to its new owner today but decided to post pics one last time of this butifull marker.  It was a blast on the speedball feild and was pretty quick for a mech 10bps with my crappy speed shooting.  BUt alase i no longer needed it as im loosing intrest in the game and a good offer came along so i took it.

In the mail comes my CCI Phantom stock class witch i hope to see revive my paintball spirt at a FRACTION of the cost as i truly miss my Pump play roots.

But alase onto the Mag photos.

that taped up Co2 quick changer is not too bad looking considering and is quite comfy actually (its wrapped around ALOT).  As for the elbo it worked i wanted a black or clear one but they only had red and green smoke and i preffered the red .

I think stock class is growing!  i'm so glad!  I traded my A-5 for a phantom vsc with red acidwash and never looked back.  the only problem is i'm worried i might quit the speedball scene......ahwell, prolly not, but i play stock any chance i get.  so what are the specs of your new phantom?  (color, model, ect. ect.)

Phantom was a good choice. I have had the most fun playing paintball using a pump.

Basically i traded straight the mag for the Phantom

Colour is Acid wash green.  Its a Stock feed (10 round but will be getting a 15 soon).  Its got the 45 frame and the back bottel setup.  also with a 4oz co2 tank (but it wil almopst exclusivly see 12gs only).  The barrel is the stock 11" (i think).  And of course a hand full of feed tubes.

I cant waint for it to get here and plan my first paintballing trip in over a year soon after its arival.  I have this pic from the previouse owner while i wait (more to come when i get her).

I will miss the Mag though but feel i will enjoy the phantom more as i see it getting more use.  even when i had the mag i offten used the carbine more simply cause it was more comfortable for me.

it's pretty nice phantom.  yeah, get a 15 round stick, and maybe a trigger shoe and you'll be set.  the good thing about used phantoms is you don't have to break them in.  You made a good trade as far as i see.  Also, don't forget to get a harness of some sort, you'll need one.  i made one myself out of shotgun shell holders and a belt.  I think it only cost me about $10 in all.

Thanx i look forward to its arival and also hope to get some reballs for some basment target practice with it.  It wont see mutch upgradeing just the 15 round tube and a stock.  I have some ideas for a decent harness as they dont make em for big guys like myself  6ft 260-270lbs.

I admittedly have no clue what the trigger shoes are for or the differant detens are for but im shure i figure it all out soon enough dang i wish they carried mail on the weekends too

Did the person who bought the gun get your HPA tank too?

Yeah i did not need it so i tossed it in for the guy.  He did not get the Revi though as i kept that for the tippy and wil get a larger HPA tank for it in the future.

I feel it was a decent kinda even trade and am happy so far with the desishion although im shure i will miss the speed of the Mag eventually.

I think that the HPA tank thrown in was sorta stupid you could have used it on your carb...

the trigger shoes bolt on to the trigger to make it more confortable.  I also here that it makes your aim more steady somehow.  i don't think it's true.  but whenever i played without the shoe, my finger blistered up.  I got a palmers originally for my pgp and i put it temporaily on my phantom.  i'm gonna get a CCI shoe for the phantom.  All the detents are for is to make sure you don't double feed.  If you tilt the phantom to far foward, it will load 2 balls and they usually break, causing a mess.  When you get used to your phantom, you might not need any, but it never hurts to be carefull.  plus they're only like 5 bucks for a kit.  aiming the phantom feels awkward at first, but you'll get the hang of it.  Pretty soon, if you play enough, you'll never want to play with anything semi.  Hope you have fun shooting the high end electros whenever they dare step on the woodsball field.  If you want to do something really fun, play speedball with it.......
