All you need is a High Pressure tank (HPA).

so just a tank? Then what would a regulator do and is it worth getting one?

All you need is a tank. You don't really need a reg but it wouldn't hurt either.

The low pressure kit may get you a few hundred more shots from the cylinder, but it is not necessary for you to use HPA.

The HPA is pretty much generic for cylinders filled with compressed air (or nitrogen). HPA cylinders have internal pressure rangine from 3000 to 5000 psi. There is a built in regulator in the tank valve that reduces the really high pressure of the cylinder down to ~800 psi which is the same output pressure as the CO2 cylinders.

If you have a marker that operates on less than 400 psi then you could go with a LPA tank. This still has the same internal pressure but the built in regulator valve reduces out put pressure to 450 psi or less. If you install the LPK than you can use the LPA cylinder that has the lower pressure output.
