| alright, just so everyone knows i am not an ion fan. So I was talking to a freind on msn and he says his ion with qev valve is getting 34 bps. what do you think? he is known to lie alot. |

34? I think hes off by a few bps. An Ion w/ qev's is fast, and faster then a stock ion. Id say maybe 10 more? but I'm not to sure... I'm pretty sure it could hit 25. When I get mine in January (only time I can affored one) I'll know for sure

NO boards out for the Ion, Even if it has the stock board with QEV the
board is maxed out at 17 there is NO WAY he has a bord that can hit
34....I gaurantee that even the internals couldn't even handle that
type of speed

ok the stock board with a QEV is still just gonna hit a maximum of 17bps. (but hit 17 and stay there) cause the stock board is capped at 17 bps. and it's not gonna shoot any faster unless you get a faster board. but i doubt he has an ion that can shoot 34 bps. ------------- my setup: Ion CP trigger SP Q-lock feedneck Check-it unimount 2 14" AA barrel |

i already deleted the window, but basically he couldn't name any of the parts on his gun except for the body kit, I asked him to find ANY aftermarket board for an ion, he couldn't find any. I kept pointing out the holes in his story and giving him facts on ions, he was like OMG I WISH I COULD SHOW YOU, I said to bring it to thurs. night band practice, but of course he had a reason he couldn't. so in the end he admitted that he lied about it (more or less). |

No way in sheol. I don't think a Halo with every mod available could feed over 30.
And I haven't seen any board upgrades that push the Ion over 20. Stock they cap at 17. Trust me, that's fast enough. -------------

There is a vid that some comp nerd made an ion hit 26 with a halo but i think thats a... how you would say ION RECORD or something. He uses full auto to get there. Another thing he cant do it w/ a barrel on as he explains at the beginning. Idk why actually he dosent explain he just trys and it only works w/ a shortened bolt and disabled eyes for no breaking or eye stopping. An Ion can go around 25bps with eyes on....I'm pretty sure......Unless
that's cause it had the eyes that came with the Predator
