| Watsup everybody im jus a guy who jsu got introduced to paintball and rite now im saving up to buy aa partcially used Tippman 98 from my buddy who jus offered me a spot on his team i jus wanted kno if theres any basic stuff i should kno b4 i dive rite i u kno dropp some knowledge on me VETS |

| das da great part my friend already got a better barrel for it he also selling me the mask with the de-fog thing in it a 20 oz refillable co2 tank and the basic 200 round hopper and all for 150 bucks and its a black tippmann 98 |

no. first you want to learn how to spell. then, get a barrel. your friends team; is it woods or tournament? if it's tournament, refuse the spot until you get better and more accustomed to the game. -------------

I can spell i was typing fas and i use shorten words on da internet its easy bcuz i stay on AIM so much i jus use no mtter wat site im on anyway he knos im not used da game yet he sayed ill be the las alternit until my skills progress then i wil be able to compete in real competition but until then we will jus play woods ball or speed ball at our local course until my skillz get sharpened |

You have really bad questions, just go play atleast once before you
even buy anything, it'll save you time, and everyone else here a lot of

And it's annoying to read, very annoying, so just type like you're doing something for school and it has to be grammaticly correct, and someone might actually answer your questions. Also, your friend is sort of ripping you off, $150 is a lot for a used Tippmann. | I would have to say dont go for the 98 custom right away. Wait a while and go paintballing a couple of times. Go to a local store and check out and compare an ION and a 98. I got a 98 after my first day of paintball and am regreting it. The ION is a great gun for woodsball and speedball. But if your sure about getting the 98 get a barrel, air tank, and double trigger. |

| it has all of that with it already and with the marker im gettin a 20 oz. co2 tank refillable the mask with the peice that keeps your goggles from fogging up i forgot what kind of barrel but its an upgrade from the stock one and its a double trigger and im getting the 200 round hopper for 150 in the store its 169 for a 9 oz co2 a mask with no de-fog for the goggles and no hopper no double trigger and the stock barrel its a better deal to buy the one from my friend |

Hmmm. If your going to get a double trigger get a elec hopper like a revy, or halo tsa The head protection wasnt stupid. When I get grazed on top it stings like *kitten*. Dont worry about asking stupid questions. If you think of a "noob" question go ahead and ask it. Back to paintball, (this isnt english class) you should get a 14 ich J&J barrel. they are very good. then a new Co2 tank, then a hopper, then a stock if you want one, then you sell your gun and buy a better one. that is if you have $$$ ------------- http://imageshack.us">

Ok here is some real advice...
150 is WAY WAY WAY too much to spend on a USED tippy. Get a hat with a bill (perferably without one of those little nobs on the top) or a bandana. Look into getting a new 98 custom or Ion http://www.countypaintball.com - here I would get a 98 custom, and learn the game before I spent the money on an Ion (easily you could spend 500 dollars on gun+ups). J&J barrels are great so are Lapco Barrels. J&J's are a bit quieter though. Don't spend more that 60 bucks on a starter barrel though. I've found that my J&J ceramic is great for just about everything, and I paid about 44 bucks for it(and I think that that is kinda pricey). The best advice (you've probably already recieved) is to get out there and play. You'll figure out what you need as you play. Gotta go Good luck Later -------------
