Alright first thing i know this topic has been wrote before, and it's proboly on the wrong sec., but i like readin ppl's stories of how tippmann ppl beat rich kids. so tell your stories here. I play for a team in ohio and they all have timmy's, i'm a frontman with a tippman 98c fully up'd, and every tourny we go to i get looks and laughs cause i use a tippmann, but i always get the last laugh when my team wins, and i know im the one who got us there. ------------- From The Darkness Cometh |

people and there "rich kids" dude i worked for like 8 months to get my gun i am not rich at all and i have a Super Stock 05. Maybe it was a lucky shot ? or you may pwn with your tippmann just dont assume that if some one has a good gun that they are rich

Wow, I don't see many kids like you. Good for you! There are plenty of kids around me that have expensive guns and don't earn it. Its fun owning them with a tippy but usually those who work for their guns kick ass in playing. I don't know why but they just do. -------------

ok im at rexplex in NJ and these two kids from brooklyn wanted to fight us two on two. the one guy had an angel and the other a DM4. one time i shot a guy 1 on 1 speedball. He had a Timmy, but i had an Oh so powerful Phantom. Unlucky me, it bounced and a couple balls later he cought me on the reload...... This guy wasn't a "Rich Kid". He played on the field team. He was pretty good too....... ------------- X |

Ok, one time it was me, two friends and some othe kid with Tippmanns. The other team was a group of spoiled kids with two Angels (which they couldnt operate correctly for their life), and two Bladed cockers (had no idea how to work them right as well). Talked a lot of *spit* about Tippmanns and us before we played. They sucked so bad, stayed at the other end of the feild and kept moving back when we werent even in effective range. We kicked their asses and they still talked. Hate people like that. The end. -------------

My rig is awesome for playing back... i can shoot dead nuts corner to corner and cover lanes no problem. you know if you can hit what your aiming at, you really don't need to shoot 25 BPS... front is fine with me to.... ^^^guns are really a personal preference........... He was just speaking from experience he had with the guns. you don't need to get all worked up. Also, the back player (usually) needs a little more rof than the fronts. The job of the back player is to pin down the other team and shout positions of the other team. Back players win games without a single elimination most of the time. So, remember kids, when your on a team, never piss off your back player. He has the ability to get you tagged....... ------------- X |

Alright sry about the misunderstanding of the meaning "rich kids." What i meant was the ones who have ther moms or dad byr thewm all there gear or they are just rich and get a very good allowence, All you guys aren't rich kids for bying high end markers, you at least work it, thats waht i meant sry to offend any one. ------------- From The Darkness Cometh |

I was playing at my local place on one of the long range fields and this dood with an angel (dunno which one) was talkin trash bout tippy's and how the flatty sucks and is inaccurate. Needless to say, my first ball that game hit the same guy in the facemask from roughly 210 feet away. I have a couple of friends that work retail jobs (think minimum wage),
and they saved up and bought some really nice high end guns (shocker,
freestyle). And they own with them too. When they're not in
tournaments, they play hopper ball, just to refine their skills (and
save paint). They tried to get me to at least an ion, but I'm
determined to stick with my 98, and own faces while doing so.

Well I was out playing paintball last week at the local
fields. and one of my friends who is a pro (seriously) and has a timmy was on the oppostie team of me. It was 3 on 3 and there were about 5 dorrito bunkers lined up (we were playing air ball) and I was at one end and he was at the other. and we were trading paint for maybe 2 or 3 minutes. and finally I gogged him. (and remember I have a tippmann with a double trigger and J&J ceramic barrel. but I used the stock barrel for this game) it felt really good to get him out! people always think there better because they have timmys, and , shockers, and dm5's but it just goes to show ya that its the player not the marker. -------------
