Dunno if its true either, but the PSP does have the capabilities. There is plenty of software out there to convert your Palm/PocketPC into a remote control. Most of these devices have "beaming" capability, which is the same technology found in your average IR remote. (But check the effective range - the remote feature may only be good up to 3 feet, or whatever the "beaming" range is on the PSP). So certainly possible. |

As soon as they increase the battery life and/or make car and usb
chargers, add a phone w/ blue tooth, a web browser, the universal remote
feature, and an organizer function with optional foldable keyboard I
will buy one.... It'll be nice when a UMD burner comes out too..... ------------- |

As for the chargers and remote feature, its not a bad idea. The phone Idea sucks, phones call people, not play games and other crap that you dont need and adds another 200 bucks. -------------

First of all the internet is partial bs; the "internet" you would be
getting would be set up via making a site of your own with links to
sites you would want to go to and clicking on them. The other bad
things about this is that you cannot type in anything which means you
cannot use any search engine. I know this because I helped my friend do
it to his; all in all it is not worth it. Besides you shouldn't go to
this guy for a crappy internet if you just wait a while sony is going
to come out with a disc that allows FULL internet access allong with a
miniature keyboard to use with the psp; I know this because it has been
on G4tv all ready. As for the remote I have no idea but i personally
doubt it.

Actually, a download is comming out so you can get online with the psp.
It's already out in japan. It isn't just a cut down version of the net
like you get on most phones either. I read an article on ign that said
basically the only thing the psp couldn't handle was flash....Lemme
