Ive taken that before. It messes with your nervous system. I started throwing up and crying and all that.. Your stomach muscles get all tight and your hands start shaking. It really really sucks. sounds nasty. but i wonder why the EMT's don't use that stuff instead of force feeding you charcoal when you get alcohol poisoning? it sounds more civilized. -------------

This a perfect question for me. Its because alcohol is absorbed through the lining of the stomach, and very quickly as well. Epikac takes about a half hour to start working, and depending on the proof of alcohol, it might burn comming back up. Wich is something you dont want. Some things you cant use epiakc on, any chemicles that are harmful to the trachea or are absorbed very fast, you dont want to use epikac with that. ------------- http://www.last.fm/user/DBibeau855/?chartstyle=myspacecolors">

I'll ask my mom about it later. I'm pretty sure the charcoal helps get it out of your system while the epikak would just make you puke. Keep in mind that you shouldn't use epikak all the time if things are swallowed. Most things say to nto induce vomiting because it will increase the dissolving of your esophogus lining. |
