It's evident throughout many threads your disposition of the black population of New Orleans. So explaining to you how Kanye's comments surrounding Bush's actions is pretty useless.

Who cares hes an idiot, hes an entertainer, thats all, the entertainers need to stay out of politics.
My feelings of the black population of New Orleans is inconsiquential...
It had nothing to do with their being black. Its that they are morons for staying around for the huricane, looting, shooting and raping. I dont have any feelings for the black comunity of New Orleans be they positive or negative, its the people doing this stuff, white, black, green blue, whatever.

Just because he's an entertainer doesn't mean he can't be political. I supposed you say the same about Ronald Reagan? Of course not, because he was conservative. An educated opinion is an educated opinion regardless of which side they are on. I don't blame the people for staying, it's their homes, many were poor. The lack of sensitivity is astounding, and discrediting Kanye because he is a rapper is humorous.
|

No. Entertainers should stay out of politics period. Ronald Reagan was elegent, and knew how to speak to the people, but he was stupid too.
K, wonderful, their homes were destroyed, it isnt bushes fault their homes were destroyed, it wasnt his fault the huricane came by. Thats completely a state and local thing.

It isn't that far fetched. Awkward, yes, far fetched not hardly. If that's what she truly felt then I'd respect it. I respect all entertainers, regardless of political lines on how they feel. Agreeing is different.

You have been such a babbling idiot the past few days that I don't even know what to think. We have a new Bugg.
So who should be allowed in
politics? Not plumbers; they're stupid, right? Not priests; they're
concerned with religion. Not mothers; they're concerned with their
families. Not anyone without a political science degree. But even then
you have to be careful. There's no telling what colleges teach anymore.
Give me a break. This is a called a democracy for a reason. Everyone
can be involved in politics. The entire DEMOgraphic of the country.
Kanye West or whoever he is said some very silly things, but it is his
right to say it, as it is the right of any entertainer or citizen of
the United States of America.
You might be surprised to find that not everyone is "stupid too."

Dont ever call me an idiot again. This is not a democracy and not everyone can be involved in politics, convicted felons, people that are not citizens and people under the age of 18 cannot participate.
This is not a democracy, we live in a republic.
And yes, i dont think Arnold should be very involved in politics, but he married into a political family, the kennedys, they are a dynasty of sorts. Doesnt really count in my mind.

You are a tool. It doesnt matter who elects who. In a democracy, everyone has an equal say in the goings on of the state. You just described a bloody republic idiot.
The people do not rule. In no way do we rule this country. We elect leaders to represent us in a public forum that makes and enacts laws, public and foreign policy... Wich is a republic.
It is said that when Ben Franklin emerged from Independence Hall after helping hammer out the new government, a woman asked him what type of government had been agreed to. Franklin replied: "Ma'am, you have a republic - if you can keep it." This response showed that Franklin understood human nature; he realized that many Americans would try to use the government as a weapon, to reward their friends and punish their enemies; to enrich themselves; to impose their particular values and desires on all citizens. The Framers feared from the beginning that their experiment in limited government would morph over time into another overgrown oligarchy in need of the boot. So to secure the blessings of small-government republicanism for future generations and to minimize the need of future bloody revolutions, they came up with a political slogan designed to remind citizens to vote small government every issue, every election, no exceptions and no excuses: "Eternal Vigilance!"
The Founding Fathers viewed democracy as a dangerous evil that must be caged like a savage beast. The cage they constructed was the Constitution; it was painstakingly designed to prevent democracy from escaping into American culture. Democracy is dangerous because it is majority rule (A.K.A.: mob rule), which destroys the very thing America was supposed to protect: individual liberty.
Yeah. Shut up.
